In this genderist utopia, what will we see?

Male doctors identifying as women and being allowed to carry out 'intimate care' on women? Males applying for posts previously reserved for females, running rape survivor centres? Males being placed in a woman's prison, despite a history of violence and sexual assaults? Children being given 'affirmation' of gender dysphoria, allowed to legally change sex, given puberty blockers, and hormones and surgery from age 16?

All of these things are already happening, supported by the NHS, Rape Crisis, the MoJ, and NHS Scotland, respectively. So why are you so angry that women are complaining?

Yes, Samphire. As I said upthread, fighting for a cause can be a good, noble and healthy thing to do. But he's not fighting for anything, he's just ranting furiously at people, telling them they're going to lose and be ostracised, judged, etc. It's sheer raging defensiveness.

What is your vision, OJ? Mixed sex spaces everywhere? Women smilingly accepting of all male wishes, wants, desires and needs, never complaining?

There is something ineffably wrong in his demeanour. His whole affect, body language, facial expression, tone of voice is somehow flattened, focussed, weird.

If he were mine I would be asking him to step back and get some serious help. He would be a constant worry to me.

He's high on his own self righteousness.

I just wonder where his utter zealotry comes from since he is not trans himself and has no skin in the game, as it were.

I don't get how OJ goes at the beginning "to all the confused people... to the ones who have concerns, I'm not talking to you" Then lashes out in exactly the same way these blokes do when any woman asks a reasonable question or raises a concern re this on social media.

Actually I do get it. It is his moment of truth in the video. He literally isn't talking to people with doubts/ concerns. He's refusing to engage in any meaningful discussion of conflicts of rights.

I wonder if he really hates women so much for the simple reason that he can't procreate without one. Is that that what lies underneath it all?

I don't think that any of them are quite shrieky enough.

Oh dear. I feel rebuked, to the same degree I feel rebuked when my cat mentions that I am five minutes late with his supper.

But on a positive note, I am happy to be remembered as someone who stood up for women, for the equality of fifty percent of the worlds population, for the dignity of all women and girls and our right to live free from the fear of abuse and intimidation at the hands of men. So at least I have something positive, life affirming and beneficial to the future of humankind to mark my short sojourn on this planet.

Unlike Owen, who will only be remembered as a squeaky little voice in the wilderness, signifying nothing.

They never do. I mean, if an asteroid is heading towards earth, we are all going to be erased aren't we. Including transpeople. Not sure that's the point he was trying to make.

That will be because OJ will have thought that he'd met a "diverse person" and that will reflect well on him while NA will have thought she'd met just another middle class man with an inflated sense of his own importance and relevance.

Just had a quick look at that OJ/Nimco Ali breakfast "date". A funny bit at the end where someone asks whether it was interesting. OJ says "yes" and Nimco says "no".
