Gripping stuff. Unfortunately I've missed the 1st 30 minutes, and I'm hoping I can catch up.

oh God, it's Mhairi Black. Just as I thought things couldn't get worse.
And why wasn't he picked up on 'rabid gammon'?

The SNP sound like they just spend all day browsing Twitter / attending "equity" workshops. There's no grappling with the actual issues. There's no clever legal points being made. It's just mud slinging. Labour are a bit mixed, a bit all over the place. But they seem to have accepted some legal points are real and engaged.

ArabellaScott · 17/01/2023 15:36

Yep. BBC or parliament tv

You can tell what sort of person he must be sneering at people like that

ArabellaScott · 17/01/2023 15:35

You can't refer to your colleagues as 'rabid gammon'. You just can't. That's atrocious.

littlbrowndog · 17/01/2023 15:35

Omg. He is a bam

ArabellaScott · 17/01/2023 15:35

I'm genuinely stunned. I'm fucking embarrased to be Scottish.

littlbrowndog · 17/01/2023 15:34

Couldn5 watch but it’s almost the most vulnerable that is trotted out

by snp and greens

women and girls. Not vulnerable are they

that Flynn is very ambitious I think. Got his eye on sturgeons job

ArabellaScott · 17/01/2023 15:34

Holy fuck. Flynn just gestured at MPs and called them 'rabid gammon to my right hand side'

Shelefttheweb · 17/01/2023 15:33

SNP are sheep. They are not allowed to rebel. It is ferociously undemocratic.

AutumnCrow · 17/01/2023 15:33

ArabellaScott · 17/01/2023 15:29

Stephen Flynn's a pompous arse, isn't he?

Yes. He thinks that process acceptable to the SNP trumps the safety of females. Twat.

ArabellaScott · 17/01/2023 15:32

Rabid gammon?

Did he just actually say that?

ArabellaScott · 17/01/2023 15:32

Hannah Bardell. 'Hon Gentleman wants to pipe down and listen, he might learn something'

Oh, dear.

Is it just me or do the majority of SNPs appear (whispers) a bit dim?

YES!! (Oops, I shouted). They are. They are also fiercely disciplined to the party line - like programmed robots. I live in Scotland and this is a recurring observation I have over and over again across a range of issues.

AutumnCrow · 17/01/2023 15:30

I emailed Ali Jack last night to say thank you. I'm glad he's calm.

Stephen Flynn (SNP) claiming it's all about democracy 'on these islands'. Is that right aye, Steve? Nothing about women, girls, you know, them people?

ArabellaScott · 17/01/2023 15:29

Stephen Flynn's a pompous arse, isn't he?

Statement of reasons.

'these amendments remove any requirement for third party verification or evidence from the process.'

ArabellaScott · 17/01/2023 15:25

'this isn't the end, this is the beginning' - speaker

Sausagenbacon · 17/01/2023 15:23

Apparently Rosie Duffield was very impressive but unfortunately I missed that bit.
I saw Jess Phillips and Dawn Butler. I wonder if they added anything useful (I doubt it)

The clips of Loughton and Jenkin are worth checking out. As are those of Karin Smyth (though not 100% sure of her all round message) and the ever determined Rosie Duffield.
