The duvet of darkness
Seems soft and yielding

This gives me flash backs

I'm just remembering my mum lecturing me as she taught me how to make the bed properly, do hospital corners, bottom sheet, top sheet, then the scratchy wool army surplus blanket with the top sheet folded over the blanket to keep it from scratching.

All tucked in so tight that you had to carefully slip yourself into bed like a snake.

Love duvets me they are wonderful but on a restless leg night they are very quick to escape to the bedroom floor.

That never happened in a properly made bed!

SPRING CLEANING

I mean I'd write a duvet one, and hopefully will, but I may attempt to bow out for this evening. I was literally awake through the night dealing with what is now called 😶 clitoral violence. Those poems and statements don't write themselves at 4 am you know...

Of course I might be wide awake again in 10 minutes just as the duvet has heated from bone chilling to mmmm which is usually the time the first, of many, nightly flushes decides to make it's appearance.

Wish me luck. I'm going in
