While critics shouted “shame on you” at the MSPs. One woman lifted their skirt and showed what initially appeared to be her genitals.

The woman shouted, “if you are not going to be decent, I am going to be indecent.”

However, it later transpired that she had been wearing some form of fake pubic wig.

According to the Scotsman, police did not arrest the individual immediately, however, the force has since received complaints and enquiries are ongoing.

Well if you've never actually seen a naked woman for real it's probably hard to tell. Right?

Exactly! I thought the funniest bit was people on twitter complaining that she had no underwear on, over her Merkin! I mean, I'm guessing she had something under the tights and tights are undergarments and even a merkin is a kind of underwear, so in fact, she was triple bagged!

stealtheatingtunnocks · 02/01/2023 09:33

Yes, mooning would be breach of the peace and so,I would think, would be exposing female pubic hair.

Neither of which isn’t what that protestor did.

Helleofabore · 02/01/2023 08:22

I have a question then for those familiar with Scottish law. Is mooning against the law?

Is it against the law to show your butt in protest?

If it is not illegal, what is the difference between mooning and a woman showing her pubic hair in protest?

picklemewalnuts · 02/01/2023 08:11

Obviously the brain interprets what the eyes see. I can understand people thinking they saw real pubes.

I can't understand people being particularly distressed by it, though. Apart from the obvious distress caused by a woman who doesn't know her place. Disobedient women can be quite distressing for some people.

Bigger this tablet, which is why I am.assuming so many strange men on the internet thought it the real thing.

@HouseOfGoldandBones "Do you, genuinely, believe that a piece of fur looks like genitals?"
Typical terf, don't you know that it's how that piece of fur FEELS that matters not whether it was identified as pubes at birth!

Did the people you spoke to also discuss the group of males using the female toilets at those sessions of parliament by any chance?

I am interested to find out just what happened there.

Particularly if the group included any of those who seem to feature in multiple social media posts glorifying ‘beating up’ women who disagree with them.

Also, are the people you are speaking to male or female? No person familiar with natural pubic hair on a female could ever mistake that merkin for real pubic hair. Unless they had motivation to do so.

Ffs what got me about the group of men using the women's loos was the bloody excuse as going as a group because they were "scared" of the women. It words to that effect.

Thoughts from a still raging Boiled about our male seeing protesters

  1. grow some balls. You are grown men!
  2. scared of the men's because of the men, 3)scared of the women's because of the women
  3. don't want third spaces because that isn't validating
  4. what the fuck do you want then?f I you are so Fucking special go pee in the gutter.

Thanks stealth.

This is of course, the very same extreme trans activists that posts threatening pictures and threatening posts. And who tweeted the infiltrator report. The report of a person who leaked messages between women organising themselves who had disagreements with each other and other women (gasp) and who used their right to watch the parliamentary debate.

Perhaps what is even worse is that the women involved in the group whose messages were leaked did not attend a rally this activist was involved in protesting, In Edinburgh, about Roe vs Wade if I remember correctly. The women’s sin? Well they were in a park having a meet up and had ignored this activists protest.

This activist, like the one who blocked the film screening, seems heavily involved in abortion rights. I wonder too if they are, like Woolf, involved in discussing and activating about periods and period poverty. Males who seem overly invested in female issues for their political agenda or what???

This one while posting threatening tweets. If I was involved in any group this person was involved in, I would be rather concerned by now.

Nothing wrong with building a profile in politics and activism- but how this person’s profile is being built is concerning. And reminiscent of other’s like it.

I've spoken to people who were there in the chamber who thought it was. (Not least in that she said it was.)

In general, when someone is flashed, the response is not "I'm going to look closely to examine if that it is genitalia or facsimile genitalia before deciding how I feel".

If a man had flashed with a fake penis outside his underwear, I don't think anyone here would say that made flashing acceptable.

I hate to break it to you, but they weren't being serious, obviously.

Also, just FYI, a piece of fur/a merkin isn't facsimile genitalia, obviously.

Also, wearing leggings with a piece of fur attached to them isn't flashing, obviously.

There is a wee piece of audio out now of the moment when one woman called out the Scottish government on their lies & gaslighting.

I have to agree, Arabella. I keep getting side tracked away from the main issue- men.

How dare you. The M an is not the MAIN issue. For he had declared himself the ONLY issue.

Don't you know your place women?

It's right back there...yeah....keep going.......bit further.........yeah you're there love.

Back of the queue.

ArabellaScott · 01/01/2023 16:59

I honestly think there are a reasonably large number of men who will shag absolutely anything.

It's nothing to do with a woman (or girl)'s attractiveness. It's to do with vulnerability, real or perceived. And to do with woman-hatred. There is a reasonably proportion of men who are predatory, abusive, and keen on non-consensual sex acts. Another chunk who hate women.

Some will approach/attack/expose/spy/stalk/harass because they think they can get away with it, if they see a woman/girl is vulnerable. Some will do the same because they are aroused to hatred of a woman/girl precisely because she seems strong, or comfortable with herself.

I mean fuck it, it's not really to do with the woman at all, so much as a picture a man has in his head about what women/girls are.

ArabellaScott · 01/01/2023 16:54

I blame the furries, myself.

HouseOfGoldandBones · 01/01/2023 14:41

DragonsCrisps · 26/12/2022 20:05

Well, when you've said "I'm going to be indecent", "this isn't the last minge you'll see" and "get it right up you", you have very much set out that you want to be indecent, you are doing this to offend, and you are representing what you are flashing as genitalia.

If a man flashes but has a fake dick stuck to his pants, the intent to harm, express power and offend remains.

I don't think "if you look closely, what I flashed wasn't actually my genitals, but rather fake genitals I constructed, and was referring to as genitals" is a good defence against flashing, nor a good precedent to set.

Do you, genuinely, believe that a piece of fur looks like genitals?

Oh, I’m serious. Especially if it is true per app that she also wanders the streets dressed as a vagina. Sounds not right in the head.

Grin no you're not.

It is with great sorrow that I have to inform you of the loss of life of Corporal Tea Bag in a friendly fire incident during the writing of the last post.

After pressing post I returned to the kitchen to make a cup of tea and discovered that in my haste to be witty I accidentally left the box of tea bags open and Corporal Bag, having decided to identify as a teaspoon, accidentally fell into the boiled cup of water that was unattended on the counter top.

I take full responsibility for this wasteful and totally unnecessary loss of life. I apologise to his family and friends and absolutely guarantee that lessons have been learnt.

Going forward safeguarding of vulnerable confused members of our community will be our top priority.

RIP CORPORAL TEA BAG

Boiledbeetle · 01/01/2023 14:36

Catching up on this thread after a late night of shouting at paedophile apologists and I am horrified, yet not in the slightest bit shocked to see even more posters experiences laid bare as evidence we are not just mad bad rights hoarding women.

We are angry, upset and scared for our sex as a whole at what is happening under the guise of trans rights, but is daily becoming glaringly more like how a Men's Rights movement behaves. Shall we all ponder on that over a cup of tea?

This post is sponsored by the poster's love of Yorkshire Tea.

Many tea bags lost their life in the writing of this this poem and post and we should pause a moment to remember the gallantry of those that have fallen (into the cup of boiled water).

So, as I start on my, God knows but quite a lot and I'm not going to count the used bags blghhhh, nth cup of tea this morning. I remembered a poem that I used over the summer to blag some free tea bags, (it worked 240 of their wonderful paper bags of absolute heaven).

So with some slight tweaks to make it more topical I give you

PAPER BAGS - An ode to Yorkshire Tea

MY PERFECT MAN

Huh! Who knew!

My perfect man identifies as a Yorkshire Tea bag.

I have always been of average attractiveness.

But even as a girl I had unwanted attention, I had a man take pictures of me in my bikini on a beach when I was about 8 (he didn't touch me), a man started to follow me around also when I was about 8 or 9, but I told my parents who got the police out.

When I was older, I have had the usual groppings, a flash, gawping, cat calling etc.

Even in my fifties, I still get men hitting on me. I honestly think there are a reasonably large number of men who will shag absolutely anything.

Truthlikeness · 01/01/2023 12:31

ErrolTheDragon · 31/12/2022 17:08

Not disinterest in men on my part. Probably a lot of luck, a certain amount of 'shelteredness', and maybe a useful degree of 'quiet confidence' and an ability to appear as though I'm looking right through or past someone apparently.

I'm in a similar position - beyond cat calls and unwanted verbal attention, never been flashed or groped or assaulted. But then I was stalked for several months by a man I dated for 3 months who then refused to take no for an answer.
