Feminism: Sex and gender discussions

A woman who willingly aborts a child should be regarded in exactly the same way as a man who willingly commits rape

This is when you are glad that twitter is allowing some GC voices back, but wish that free speech didn't mean self entitled men could talk grossly offensive comments about women.

What an absolute shit

I’ve watched all 3 episodes if I Love Suzy Too, his ex wife’s new programme which she co wrote and stars in.
It’s an astonishing piece of TV. There’s an ex H in it, who makes her life an utter misery and is a grade one prick. I wonder who she’s based that on?

twinklystar23 · 29/12/2022 07:15

Hmm maybe we should all up the reviews for BP and ignore him. 😁

Oh God, he's back. Awful man.

Fukuraptor · 29/12/2022 00:50

I don't suppose he means here that they should be assumed to be innocent, rarely face prosecution and largely allowed to carry on their lives with no consequence by those around them just like the majority of men who "willing" rape women....

EvilBee · 28/12/2022 21:36

Social conservatives doing what social conservatives do. As much as I abhor JCJs views on us, she is absolutely correct to warn against sitting with social conservative types - they look enviously at other countries where they have grabbed the reduced the rights of women and minorities and hope to do the same in the UK.

Anyone who thinks that 'it couldn't happen here' should note that it was not long ago that women in the US thought the same about RvW..and now there's women in prison in some states for having a miscarriage and reproductive rights have been reduced for 10's millions of US women.

I think he’s just thick and didn’t word what he meant properly. I don’t think it’s that deep.

I agree...but at the same time I think 'stupid like a fox' also applies

The second series of his ex wife’s show, which she co-produced and starred in, has just been released and has rave reviews. It’s brilliant.

In the first episode she has a termination.

I wonder why he chose now to air his views?

He seems obsessed with her and recently took to Twitter to accuse her of blocking access to their children… I think there is a probably a good reason the children don’t want to spend time with him!

This is it. He cannot bear that she's trending for all the best reasons: her considerable gravitas as an actress and that fact that, professionally, she leaves him standing.

He's inadequate and consistently found wanting, so has exploded into a paroxysm of rage. Meanwhile, Billie is doing just great.

Fantastic example of 'the best revenge is to live well'. She rises above his crap every time. There couldn't be more of a marked contrast between two people.

Is Lawrence Fox religious? Why is he saying this? What is his motivation?

His acting career, pop career and political career all failed, so this is the only way he can get as much attention as his ex wife and his sister?

He's laying the groundwork for declaring that there are two categories of rapists the willing and the unwiling which is just another form of victim-blaming isn't it....
I didn't want to rape her she made me rape her, it wasn't my fault she tempted me because of what she was wearing etc

I think he’s just thick and didn’t word what he meant properly. I don’t think it’s that deep.

Pr1mr0se · 25/12/2022 19:12

I think he's been taking too much attention to the Handmaid's Tale.

SinnerBoy · 25/12/2022 18:46

He hasn't been in the news for ages. It's my opinion that he's been "thinking"
Now what sort of ignorant, offensive thing could I say, to get some publicity again?

He's a suppurating, ignorant bawbag and he proves that every time he opens his mouth / mashes his keyboard dementedly, with his mighty fists of ham.

Soothsayer1 · 25/12/2022 14:30

I hear you@Lottapianos !
but if men could get pregnant.... Well that would make them the women wouldn't it?

Lottapianos · 25/12/2022 14:26

'Jeez: aren't there times you wish a bloke could get pregnant and 'enjoy' pregnancy'

The world would be a very different place if every man had to experience just one period in his life. Not even the kind that involves enormous clots and nausea and being bedridden, just a fairly average dragging pain, manage with paracetamol, exhaustion, heavy to medium flow, 5 day period. They wouldn't believe what we have to deal with

Soothsayer1 · 25/12/2022 14:21

And also to say that there are ways in which women 'rape' men I've seen this on redpill forums before, where a divorce settlement is described as 'divorce rape'

Soothsayer1 · 25/12/2022 14:19

EBearhug · 25/12/2022 14:12

Gosh. I hope someone is supporting all those poor men who unwillingly rape women. How terrible it must be for them to have to stick a dick into someone who has not consented, as if they are the ones who have no choice in it.

Can one's eyes dislocate from rolling too hard?

Whowhatwherewhenwhynow · 25/12/2022 13:57

He has something massively psychologically wrong with him. His behaviour isn’t usual.

flyingbuttress43 · 25/12/2022 13:57

Jeez: aren't there times you wish a bloke could get pregnant and 'enjoy' pregnancy and labour in all it's bloody, painful, nauseous glory, haemorrhoids, stretch marks, hyperemesis gravididarum and all its other delights....

See how long before the stupid twat changes his mind.

Not to mention giving birth through his prick as a bonus.

Sorry, back to watching the Christmas dinner cook.....

FlorettaB · 25/12/2022 13:52

Don’t give him the oxygen of publicity. Or the oxygen of oxygen.

Helleofabore · 25/12/2022 13:47

I don’t believe he fits the label of ‘gender critical’. Why are people saying he is?

That seems to be like calling Matt Walsh gender critical. No. Neither of them are. They just believe water is wet in the same way I do, but from very different motivations.

Oblomov22 · 25/12/2022 12:39

Fuck off. Twat.

Lottapianos · 25/12/2022 12:33

'Its all just a game to men, they are enjoying themselves. They don't see that pleasure as a moral failing'

Spot on. Issues like rape and abortion are not real to men like him, they don't give a shit either way, they're just interested in publicity and attention for themselves. And yes, this specific comment is no doubt directed at his ex Billie Piper and her magnificent series which everyone is rightly raving about. What a sad little act he is

AhBallix · 25/12/2022 12:27

I don't want to look at the link, but am not even surprised anymore at what issues forth from that idiot man. To compare a personal medical decision made by a woman, to a decision to commit a violent act made by a man is so far from any sort of normal, rational thinking as to be not worth giving it any headspace.

VladmirsPoutine · 25/12/2022 12:21

Giving him attention and the label gender critical gives the impression he's in some way a part of the women's movement to push back against gender ideology, he is not and that's why we should ignore him.

IIRC didn't Helen Joyce suggest gc women align with the right in a recent talk?
