The "organisation" which has replaced "Steph's Place" has big news and there just isn't enough popcorn in the world:

It's completely irrelevant to anything. I don't care if every transwoman, for example, has a special identifiable extra physical brain component that makes them somehow feel like a woman. They aren't female, they're male, so when sex matters, they need to go in the "male" box with all the other male people.

Hoardasurass · 12/12/2022 08:12

The panic that's on display from most of the trans posters is very telling. I mean why would anyone who is trans be afraid of a test that proves whether they are actually trans or just say a confused child going through a phases (as the NHS claims most trans identifying children are)? Surely a quick test would be perfect in shutting down all arguments about transing children and who should get a GRC 🤔

They've had to reassure Katy Montgomerie that yes it's a biological condition, but no there won't be a test for it Xmas Grin

But Katy is always telling GCs about tHE sCIeNCe.......

But…. But…. It’s written by a RESEARCH SCIENTIST! It is “real science stuff” and we should be reading all about it in a newspaper. Isn’t “science” by a “research scientist” wonderful!

SmartWatch · 12/12/2022 08:09

And written by an actual research scientist as well! (As opposed to an entire team of scientist in a peer reviewed journal like any credible scientific breakthrough would be of course).

What do we reckon? Are they going to claim to have found a trans gene?

So is it actual biological feelz, which are obviously far more scientific than those woowoo laydee feelz?

Oh dear, the TRAs aren't happy with this - I wonder why? Wink

TinselAngel · 12/12/2022 07:41

Haha! That was autocorrected from "hats" but is actually appropriate.
