The "organisation" which has replaced "Steph's Place" has big news and there just isn't enough popcorn in the world:

So now you can have "trans trans" people - people who were identified as "not-trans" by the test, but know that the test was wrong. And they'll be far more oppressed than the "cis trans" people who were identified as trans.

What if you have a positive test but you don’t identify as trans?
Will you be forced to change your pronouns?

SuperCamp · 12/12/2022 09:15

So does this mean they are prepared to accept scientific biological evidence that women are female?

But what a breakthrough… after years of campaigning to get the GRA to acknowledge that Trans is a feeling and must be respected as such in each and every context and anything else is <<horror theme music>> transphobiaaaaaaaa

bellinisurge · 12/12/2022 09:05

The TRA fear of medical tests for being trans is such a self own

Schrodinger's trans in which it is simultaneously a medical and not medical condition

I for one cannot wait to see this ground breaking science

Yes, exactly.
Presumably the Eddie Izzards of this world will show different results on different days?

I can see the daily mail sad faces as we speak

OMG this is exactly it!

Rainbowshit · 12/12/2022 08:56

The panic is hilarious. They're all fucking at it aren't they? They know, we all know.

CampervanKween · 12/12/2022 08:52

This is very funny. Do you think they realise how ridiculous they look to ordinary people? Or are they so entrenched in their echo chambers that they have no self awareness? Emperors New Clothes has never been so apt. I guess these types are universal throughout history.

Helleofabore · 12/12/2022 08:48

I suspect it will be just like a Merry Christmas gift to us all and it will prove that trans people are….. human…. Therefore ‘biological’.

I really suspect it will be some strange parsing of words. Just like when they have a go at Adult Human Female by separating the words to make the criteria fit. And use the feelz female or legal because of GRC sleight of hand maneuver.

I see Emma Hilton is on stand by.

An extra Christmas present for her.

Kucingsparkles · 12/12/2022 08:47

This is comedy gold! Xmas Grin

lightlypoached · 12/12/2022 08:42

One of the reply tweets is wonderful. A research scientist is 'expressing their own truth'. Coz yes, that's valid scientifically. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Comedy gold.

It's written by a genuinely real research scientist expressing their own truth. All opinions are equally valid. Subjecting it to cisheteronormative peer-review would be transphobic.
Educate yourself and do better.

*”…that demonstrates that being trans is a biological condition.”

Umm isn’t everything to do with life forms a biological condition??

Also India I-have-a-cervix Willoughby hasn’t got the same memo as Monty

”The truth! Lots of studies already confirm this - though great to have another 👍”

LaughingPriest · 12/12/2022 08:23

I wonder which type of trans will be biological? The type where you wish to be the opposite sex, or the type where you have a gender identity that feels like what you feel a person of a different gender identity would feel, although it would be transphobic to describe what those things feel like so everyone is just guessing what everyone thinks a woman/man/bigender/catgender person feels like?

Maybe it's both?

I'm guessing it's the type that's the prim transexuals, like Steph.

Reading the TRAs in that Twitter thread (waves to Joss!👋) for some reason I’m reminded of John Carpenter’s The Thing, where no one wants to get their blood dipped by a red hot wire…

NotBadConsidering · 12/12/2022 08:20

Someone needs to tell Sturgeon to hold the fuck on too! She can’t go passing legislation while this sort of thing is being revealed! Then she can say those who’ve had The Test can transition!

Helleofabore · 12/12/2022 08:19

So….. biological but not testable….

Steph must be having a laugh.

TinselAngel · 12/12/2022 08:17

Maybe all men could take the test before they get married?

OP posts:
NotBadConsidering · 12/12/2022 08:16

Love this! I always knew it would end up this way!

Firstly, it will be absolutely anti-scientific nonsense.

Second, I look forward to the Izzards of the and those special people featured regularly on Dame Katy Denise’s Twitter feed all getting “The Test”, it will be hilarious.

This is going to be a major coup in allowing the ideology to destroy itself.

Igneococcus · 12/12/2022 08:15

Do they need someone to peer-review it?
