Have you got a link to the consultation?

I agree with all of your fears. This is why it is so important we all fill in the NHS consultation on care for trans I'd children. Deadline tomorrow!

The people who could examine and challenge / prosecute the numerous safeguarding failures are the police , the local authority and the NSPCC.
Most signed up to / paying customers of Stonewall & Mermaids 😑

Jimmy Savile ensured that the police local & national officials were in his pockets to escape scrutiny, protect himself and continue to prey on children.

I'm confused by what I've been reading. It seems that Mermaids concerns do not appear to be the same as the CC's concerns, which also do not appear to be the same as the gender critical concerns. We are concerned about safeguarding vulnerable children and gaslighting institutions, the CC are concerned about the charity's governance and reporting processes, Mermaids are concerned about trans inclusion and their leadership not being trans enough.

So SG could be replaced with somebody even more extreme, the CC could enforce proper procedures at Mermaids, which Mermaids would comply with while continuing to promote harmful procedures to children and issue incorrect guidance to institutions.

My thoughts exactly.

Sadly so

I share your apprehension and consider it wretchedly plausible.
