Another one here who won’t vote labour again until they publicly backtrack on this.

But if a political party can silence people over this, doesnt it indicate that they'll silence people over other things that don't fit the climate of the time. People on MN are focusing on this womens rights issue because the party's stance goes against what they think. But how many other things have people been silenced over that you have disagreed with and so were comfortable with that oppression?

This is discrimination.

Most of us here are mothers. Many of us have children. Things are bad, very bad for girls. They are dangerous.

There is another post where people are discussing that they may not encourage their female child to go to university because of how anti woman universities are.

Many of the people in power at all levels of society have a deep seated hatred of women. It's always been there but now it's positively encouraged and woman are being discriminated against up and down the country because of their SEX.

The reason that people on here are concerned, angry & disappointed about this is because 99% of Mumsnet are women.

Can you give us some examples of what you mean?
I think this issue with political parties is a war on women & safeguarding.

I won’t be voting for them again unless they back track and apologise to women.

SafariRushHour · 01/12/2022 23:47

yes, fuck off labour, you’ll never have my vote while you fail women

ArabellaScott · 01/12/2022 23:05

Nutty Labour Sex Fudge, anyone? Glass of port?

Igmum · 01/12/2022 18:50

I'm gutted about this but I seriously cannot vote Labour as long as they do this kind of thing. Since the LibDems are even more batshit what do I do? Starmer needs to realise that he will never get into power unless he wins the support of decent, middle of the road voters, not the lunatic TRAs.

Labour had one job; to represent the working people of this country and they seem to be diverted by faux "progressive" causes at every turn. From being impressed by Stalin to PIE and now gender ideology. I'm left thinking they have half a dozen brain cells on a timeshare basis between the entire PLP.

What the fuck is wrong with them?

Toseland · 01/12/2022 16:22

Let us be in no doubt, this is a war on women like we have never seen. Logical and reasonable arguments, appeals to sanity are no good to us. We are being written out of existance, they will not stop. I'm terrified.

ResisterRex · 01/12/2022 16:04

I know someone who left back in 2018 because of all this. It's not new and it's not going away or getting better. The woman I knew who left, had concerns we have on this board, which were deemed unacceptable.

They were happy for her to set up and man stalls, hand out leaflets, do all the donkey work though...strangely, she wasn't quite so happy to be everyone's bag carrier while also being ignored and silenced, so she left.

Beowulfa · 01/12/2022 15:52

Fuck off Labour.
