They're also taking legal action against its creator

What I want to know is who the hell signed it off and why were the parents happy to let it go ahead?

I've included the images for anyone who hasn't seen them.

The main reason the liberal press has not mentioned it is because they do not want to be accused of homophobia. These types of activities/interests are all found in the TQ+ part of the rainbow coalition. The forced teaming of the LGB part was/is used to create a human shield composed of those with a sexual orientation (who have suffered discrimination and rightly require protection), being pushing in front of all those with a sexual paraphilia or perversion; people who would otherwise receive the vilification they deserve for pulling shit like this outside of the privacy of their own bedrooms amongst consenting adults.

nilsmousehammer · 23/11/2022 16:55

This is being pushed, and pushed, in the knowledge that it's now very fashionable to be 'sex positive' and other words from the paedophile manifesto (it's a real document, it explains how to soften up the public and normalise it all until it's legal and kids can be freely accessed). And that it's cool to gaslight and ignore, or do it and then go whoops, tee hee, with all the publicity etc having been achieved.

Rather like stripping women's rights, the righteous will say don't be prudish, stop pearl clutching, it's fine because x, it's ok because y, only right wing old people will care, and the aim is to fix this firmly as normal and untouchable.

We've been way too nice and patient and generous for way, way too long.

OmiOmy · 23/11/2022 16:35

*because of his previous photographic style

OmiOmy · 23/11/2022 16:33

I don't know the ins and outs of a fashion shoot but surely the styling team from the brand and the photographer and ad campaign team (in house?) work closely together for months before doing the actual shoot. They're creating a story and they knew exactly the look they would be going for.

So, I'm not sure Balenciaga can pin it on the photographer. Besides which, it's glaringly obvious, the brand went for this particular photographer precisely because he of his photo style.

Ofnoteannightmares · 23/11/2022 16:10

I am actually disgusted that no serious media (The Times / Telegraph / Guardian / Spectator etc) have covered it or those with super high profiles Piers Morgan, Andrew Neil, Suzanne Moore, Hadley Freeman, Janice Turner etc have commented on it and drawn attention to how obscene it is, the fact it was deemed acceptable by a fashion house and how it is LITERALLY right there, in plain sight including an APOLOGY admitting to the implication! HOW DOES IT NOT HAVE PROPER NEWS COVERAGE??? Considering all the bullshit they actually cover! Bullshit to just offsetting the blame onto a single photographer - a huge team of people is involved in a high fashion ad campaign, and absolutely nothing is left to accident in a photograph like that. The amount of eyes on it before publishing would have been immense. I am so angry. And I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but honestly the all round silence where there should be all sides political outrage makes me question like nobodies business.

So they have form for this shit. Jesus 🤦‍♀️

It's all part of their 23 campaign. Hiding in plain sight.

Mass grooming

MrsOvertonsWindow · 23/11/2022 14:54

That twitter thread is appalling.
It's evident that paedophiles are now confident enough to be out in the open and accepted by the terminally stupid.

Not sure how to share tweets or if this works but someone shared another Balenciaga ad with very suspect artbooks prominently displayed in office setting.

Truly sick.

Kiwimommyinlondon · 23/11/2022 12:18

This is so utterly grim. But it feels like yet another step in normalising this kind of thing. And the sad thing is I don’t think many people care. It’s not covered on many media outlets. Revolting.

Datun · 23/11/2022 11:51

DarkDayforMN · 23/11/2022 11:20

It's not like it was featured in some relatively innocuous content though. There were warning bells all over the place.

That’s my point, though. These people have already been groomed/brainwashed to the point that they didn’t understand the problem with this photoshoot. Now they see this document in it and they come over all surprised.

It’s like drag queen story time or any other example of boundaries being pushed around the sexualisation of children; the useful idiot brigade get all surprised and confused whenever actual pedophiles turn out to be involved.

Yes. People really don't appreciate how prevalent paedophilia is.

I think it's pretty much guaranteed that if you think something is dodgy in terms of children, it probably is.

Once you start to look at it through that lens, things become so obvious, you're just amazed at other people's naivety. A naivety, which, of course, child sex offenders, utterly rely upon.

TheKeatingFive · 23/11/2022 11:27

Well agreed, but that entirely on them. What failure of company culture led to this?

Datun · 23/11/2022 11:22

Clymene · 23/11/2022 11:03

This is the doc. It's a ruling on images of child sexual abuse. In a photoshoot of a handbag.

There is another image of a little boy standing behind rolls of duct tape, chains and a ski mask along with a beer can with a candle on the top.

I am really sickened by all the people involved in this campaign

That is very deliberately placed, isn't it?

There are leads and wine glasses on the tables in front of the little girls.

The photographer did a project with children with all their toys laid out around them and he's used the same style for this shoot: www.thisiscolossal.com/2018/06/toy-stories-gabriele-galimberti/
(I find these photos disturbing - you may not)

So the photographer spent 2 years travelling around the world visiting strange children in developing countries. Well, that's not going to raise any red flags now, is it?

ArabellaScott · 23/11/2022 11:06

The photographer should of course have his equipment confiscated and investigated.

Balenciaga - well, the whole brand just sounds sleazy, gross, and tacky in the very best-case scenario.

Hi everyone,
We have removed the concerning images , but we have no objection to them going back up with the faces blurred. Thank you to everyone who drew our attention to this matter.

Thanks. I'm not great with the blurring out faces etcon this old laptop.

If people really want to see the pics I guess they can Google them as there are lots still out there.

It was quite well hidden and they weren’t expecting it. I’m sure most of them didn’t think they were enabling an actual pedophile to display his fetish in public, they just thought it was edgy. (Some of them possibly did know.)

It's not like it was featured in some relatively innocuous content though. There were warning bells all over the place. And even aside from that, nothing should go out without every detail checked. That's how most companies operate.

They can't claim ignorance on this one. I expect the stuff about suing is just posturing. Safe to say they wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

unname · 23/11/2022 10:48

What exactly is that document?

This is all so sick. And I doubt there will be any long term repercussions to the brand or people involved.

DarkDayforMN · 23/11/2022 10:44

But it was their job to check that. If the internet 'found' it, why was it beyond the skills of the marketing team employed for the purpose?

People on the Internet are smart enough to know that actual pedophiles are behind this kind of boundary pushing behaviour more often than not. And this kind of “look at me I’m so clever” in plain sight gloating seems to be pretty common among pedophiles who are getting away with it. I doubt the photographer expected anyone to check the zoomed in documents either.

MarshaBradyo · 23/11/2022 10:36

Maybe someone has said why I may have missed it but why isn’t it a criminal matter?

Disgusting- but no worse than those LoL dolls- also bloody vile.

It obviously is worse. These are actual children.
