Influencer who transformed into a Korean woman now wants to regain his British man identity

I don't even have the words to express how I feel like this. We have to stop telling people that medical intervention will make them happy. It's too much, it's ruining lives.

'I did it because I thought it would make me happy. I felt happy at the time but over a period of reflection, I felt I was chasing happiness. Being a woman is not for me'

So he had his face feminised but no penis removed or breast implants? Am I right?

Is he still identifying as Korean?

I believe he's identifying as a born again christian republican now.

I suspect he's following the money and attention.

But apparently he was never trans, he was just pretending. twitter.com/buririkat1/status/1591840256172908549?s=46&t=Sbv3Yra0YrS6jP0ngRi7Mw

He’s now being accused of transphobia twitter.com/olilondontv/status/1591839047990870016?s=46&t=Sbv3Yra0YrS6jP0ngRi7Mw

Poor soul. Clearly very troubled and in need of mental health support rather than surgery.

StillWeRise · 13/11/2022 17:49

I thought he just wanted to be Korean, not a woman? Hence he was a good example of being 'transracial' and how that was deemed not OK yet somehow thinking you could change sex was a possibility?

FatAgainItsLettuceTime · 13/11/2022 17:49

I think it's the prevalence and easy access to any and all plastic surgery that encourages this. I'm only 39 but when I was a teen plastic surgery was still something that seemed out of reach of most people and celebrities went to great lengths to hide any work they had done.

As Botox and fillers became more popular and easy access and as celebs started having more and more work done it became akin to getting your hair done or having a manicure.

Some people seem to think surgery is temporary and can just be redone if you change your mind.

Good Lord.
Identifying as a female Korean… now reverting pronouns he/him and also Kor/ean?! You couldn’t make this up.

I actually feel bad for him as clearly he needed mental health support and that’s the tragic thing about trans ideology, that it confuses medical professionals about what is a diagnosabled/treatable mental health issue.

Johnnysgirl · 13/11/2022 17:37

Being a woman is not for me.
How fucking outrageous is that?! Just as if it was a completely optional theatrical part you can play for kicks when you feel like it (sadly, this doesn't seem too far from the truth) and discard when you get bored and want to revert to your real life.
The whole concept is shameful.

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 13/11/2022 17:28

It's almost like they think being a woman is like putting on a coat and taking it off again when it doesn't fit, isn't it?

Carlycat · 13/11/2022 17:20

Not a mental illness 🤦‍♀️

WallaceinAnderland · 13/11/2022 17:14

Yes and as an influencer, will have been encouraging others to do the same.
