I was just thinking that the GC analysis is the only one that can explain the behaviour of police forces up and down the country.

The liberal position is “It’s awful that the police are institutionally racist and misogynist, but it’s great that they stand up for LGBTQ+ people!”

No. The promotion of trans ideology is part of the misogyny.

hat

I wouldn't say more prevalent- but I saw it more in response - where you are a Jack of all trades and master of none.

Plus as number's dwindled and officers crime lists grew there was always a pressure to "get rid" of jobs faster - sometimes just the pressure of having 33 criminal investigations in your list out you under that pressure because you know that every time you respond to a job you are potentially picking up another investigation. Response is fast paced and sometimes cops don't join the dots - we had 5 response teams so crimes can get scattered over different groups even if the victim is reporting something new instead of one officer dealing.

In other departments I saw that much less .

Hey hat

Not very often but there are lazy cops out there and also cops who rather than ask something they don't know will try to blag it or just plain get it wrong .
If I see it - I do call it .

Thank you, I appreciate your response.

Would you say IYO, that this attitude is something that you come across more often in recent years?

if you don't agree with what i have written, then just say so. Either the argument's good or the argument is bad.

Felix I don't want to interact with you because I think you are trolling this topic.

You cannot simultaneously pretend to be an intelligent person and post in the way you do (articulate if overly word salad-y) while also failing to grasp the simple concepts you have repeatedly misinterpreted.

As I say I think you are a troll and I don't want to engage with you anymore, yes?

Felix125 · 10/12/2022 18:39

HatThatWearsYou

Yes, you sometimes do - that's why it needs to be challenged when it happens.
Which is why I am suggesting to Bearyhumcrack that they complian.

In theory, it should not be able to happen - as if i try and close a crime enquiry off with no investigation, it will get kicked back to me either by my supervision, or crimes desk or the next rung up the ladder.

But obviously it does happen and people cut corners to give themselves an easy life

I don't want people in the police who are corrupt or fail to investigate or are lazy - that's why they need to be rooted out - and the best way to do that at present is to complain.

If the police have suggested that they can not investigate Bearyhumcrack's stalking complaint whilst the investigation is on going against Bearyhumcrack - then this is false. 2 investigations can run alongside each other.

This therefore needs to be questioned as its wrong to expect Bearyhumcrack to put up with more & more harassment against them without an investigation.

HatThatWearsYou · 10/12/2022 18:26

*encountered that type of attitude often

HatThatWearsYou · 10/12/2022 18:26

Ugh. Can someone else please ask Vicar my question? The about whether she's encountered that type of attitude "It's too hard, file it".

Since she won't respond to me now apparently.

@Bearyhumcrack what a shit show! I hope for the best for you, which I realise is about as much actual help as the 'service' you've received from the police.

@stillvicarinatutu I hope you're feeling better.

So much hope this morning Smile

Felix125 · 10/12/2022 03:38

How am I victim blaming here......?

I have given you advice on how to address this previously.

Are you paid by the police to post on here?

Felix125 · 10/12/2022 11:45

Right, so wait for that conclusion for the complaint to come back.

In the mean time, any new occurrences can be rang in and each will start a new investigation. Each call will be graded on threat, harm risk etc etc

if you have photos, CCTV other witnesses etc - it can't be ignored every time.

Bearyhumcrack · 10/12/2022 11:33

And I've told you... I have complained. Because you're all so Shit, the complaints department "will get back to me within 4 months".

Piss off Felix. Im bored of your condescending tone. The police have failed me. Fact. They don't care. Fact.

Felix125 · 10/12/2022 11:22

I've said - complain. Both cases can run alongside each other
You have the victim's right to review when a case is closed
What enquirers were conducted - and if not, why not?

If you don't want to speak to the police forces directly, go through the IOPC or a solicitor and they will do it for you.

Bearyhumcrack · 10/12/2022 06:22

Gah. I'll go back to bed. @FOJN thank you.

HatThatWearsYou · 10/12/2022 06:11

I'd love to take the credit Xmas Grin @Bearyhumcrack but I think you meant to quote@FOJN

HatThatWearsYou · 10/12/2022 05:49

Are the "it's too hard to deal with so file it" view about cases something you've come across often in your work Vicar?

More help in one post than two police forces. Thank you.

stillvicarinatutu · 10/12/2022 03:58

And I totally get it if you do t want to discuss it further beary but I'm quite good at the "it's too hard to deal with so file it " jobs .

Bearyhumcrack

Here's a link to the National Stalking Helpline. I've never had to call them so can't speak about what's on offer but they may be able to advise you about what you can do to get your complaint taken more seriously.

Fair enough.
