All this discussion of feminism and the Right! The Right Wing has lots of feminists. But they're all old school equal opportunity, women should carry a gun feminists. None of them are idpol/equity/3rd wave feminists.

How did that old meme go? "The bulge in a Conservative woman's pants is a gun. The bulge in a Liberal woman's pants is a penis".

The Left has always been a collectivist movement at heart. It appeals to those who depend on a group for power. That's why women tend to be Left Wing because historically women have less power individually than men (physically and financially). But it also draws in a lot of beta men (and this is born out statistically with financial and even gym usage statistics). And that includes typical AGP MtF who might be physically large and aggressive but on some psychological level fetishize being some "weak and girly" stereotype of a woman.

And it's why a lot of individually powerful / assertive women in politics gravitate to the Right. Alice Weidell, Thatcher, Georgia Melonie, Marine Le Pen. Sure, the Left has a lot of women in the ranks, but how many female leaders has the Labour or Liberal Democrat parties have compared to the Tories?

I neither expect nor want everyone to agree with me on this, but I'd say that in a significant way the Right is more feminist than the Left, because the Right tends to give less of a stuff about someone's sex. That's bad for equity based feminism, good for meritocratic feminism. But either way, there's "feminism" on the Right. It's just not what modern academics and the media recognize as "feminism" anymore which is all about enshrining sex as a group identity. The Right regards feminism as not hindering someone's rights because of their sex.

In the light of that last point, I think it's clear why on the issue of GC, the Right is appearing a lot more "feminist" than the Left.

Is that you Julie? I see you're having a go on Twitter as well. Give it a rest.

Would you be happy for a mother of 4 children to be murdered by a far left mob in America who has gone there to talk about the disease of gender ideology affecting our children?

What exactly are you doing to stop this madness from affecting more children? You’re sat on mumsnet trying to get people to hate an incredibly brave woman who is putting her life at risk to spread the word of this nightmare that is spreading around the globe.

She cares. Do you?

lady69 · 01/11/2022 08:38

Oh look, another purity spiral zealot’s post. Zzzzzz

Duckskitbank · 01/11/2022 08:38

Purity spirals require such a low level of thinking. How do people who insist on separating the world into 'good' and 'bad' even function out there?

sweetgrapes · 01/11/2022 08:35

Newcatbrowntail · 01/11/2022 08:25

The men from the left need to step up.

This. Where are they? Sitting around frothing at peaceful discourse from women?

sweetgrapes · 01/11/2022 08:33

CountZacular · 01/11/2022 07:54

Posie hires right wing security to protect from death threats from the left.

In that statement I’d suggest the one making the death threats are the problem, not who Posie hires. Very odd take.

THIS!
The problem is The Left.
Women like KJK are NOT the problem.

Did you hear Kier's wishy washy interview on Mn? After Rosie getting threats and all.
Nodding away, yes, yes, I know about the Cass review but don't have a single sensible comment to make.

There are no fig leaves for the left to hide behind, there is no plausible deniability. And still there is a deafening silence from the people on the left.

But still the problem is people like Posie who dare to talk to people on the right. Hmm

Xoxoxoxoxoxox · 01/11/2022 08:27

This is one Antfa member in Portland who was threatening her and the Portland rally had to be cancelled.
A woman was attacked at another rally and her hand was crushed by a TRA.
Security was necessary and it’s totally irrelevant what the security team’s politics are, the question is whether free speech is possible for women in America.

Who are Posie's new friends?

Ereshkigalangcleg · 01/11/2022 08:21

Yes you are the baddies. Hope this helps.

The name shows a startling admission

its a bit like that poster who said they had been brainwashed

bit like a freudian slip 🤔

Ereshkigalangcleg · 01/11/2022 08:26

So let me get this straight OP. Left wing men make serious threats of violence and death against KJ and women at her rally.
Yet your focus is on KJ and bad optics for her and her cause, rather than focusing on the violent left wing men and the bad optics for them and their cause?

These people wouldn't know a bad optic if it hit them in the arse. They honestly think a baying mob full of male thugs and entitled brattish kids to throw things and spit at women daring to speak up in public about things many people find abhorrent like giving healthy teenage girls mastectomies and male rapists in women's prisons makes them look like the "goodies".

Newcatbrowntail · 01/11/2022 08:25

The men from the left need to step up.

KatMcBundleFace · 01/11/2022 08:24

We pay for security at work. We don't ask how they vote. Hope that helps.

Shelefttheweb · 01/11/2022 08:23

So left wingers issue death threats, and physically attack those at Posies talk, but the mainstream right wing security stopping people getting hurt are the bad guys? How does that work?

Ereshkigalangcleg · 01/11/2022 08:21

Yes you are the baddies. Hope this helps.

RufustheFloralmissingreindeer · 01/11/2022 08:21

Oops

obviously agreeing or disagreeing with KJK doesnt mean that my KNOWLEDGE that people can’t change sex and that sex is important will change one way or the other

YeahmetooJill · 01/11/2022 08:20

So let me get this straight OP. Left wing men make serious threats of violence and death against KJ and women at her rally.

And you can’t see the misogyny in that?

RufustheFloralmissingreindeer · 01/11/2022 08:19

AreWeTheBaddies · 31/10/2022 23:35

Yes

Why?

you don’t have to tell me obviously but there are plenty of people who have a personal dislike of KJK and post under their actual names

(I’m ambivalent to be honest, don’t agree with everything she has said, no idea what she is like as a person and ive no interest in critiquing her appearance)

pattihews · 01/11/2022 08:15

OP, you do realise that you're just helping to drive the last few nails into the WPUK coffin, don't you? As if the WPUK haven't been damaged enough by the responses of their supporters on the Sarah Ditum and WPUK at Filia threads, now you come along with this. If you're determined to shed any remaining supporters this is the way to go about it.

Igmum · 01/11/2022 08:11

Well since @AreWeTheBaddies is, I assume, a TRA who supports violence against women who disagree with them I would say yes, absolutely, TRAs are the baddies.

HTH.

Any time you'd like a serious discussion of safeguarding children and vulnerable young people, or would like to protect women's rights while ensuring trans people keep theirs, or any time you would like to support LGB people in their same sex attraction then you'd be welcome on this board, even with your track record as a baddie.

StopStartStop · 01/11/2022 08:08

So, @AreWeTheBaddies , what are you doing to further the cause? How many women have you reached, peaked, given chance to speak? Who looks to you for inspiration and leadership?

You can try to sneer at Kellie-Jay, if you like, she won't care. And nor do we.

AlisonDonut · 01/11/2022 08:07

Men don't like women who say no, that's for damn sure.

And they hate it when they have the means to hire other men to protect them.

Is it even possible to hire a 'left wing security detail'?

Hepwo · 01/11/2022 08:05

OhHolyJesus · 01/11/2022 07:41

Is that you Ali?

😂

Berthatydfil · 01/11/2022 07:58

AreWeTheBaddies · 31/10/2022 22:33

Wow.
Take a long hard look at yourself op.

The fact is that she needs security to go out in public to say women don't have penises, men need to say out of woman's spaces and we shouldn't be mutilating and sterilising children. And all you have to say is you don't approve of the people she hired.
I think the issue that should concern you should be the fact that she had to even hire them in the first place.

Musomama1 · 01/11/2022 07:54

These threads are such a wind up.

What's so wonderful about the left? Joe Biden continues to sell out women, Labour won't even talk to women, both demonstrate no concern of child safeguarding on a range of issues talked about on these boards.

Any lefty security guards for hire? Perhaps not but what does it matter? My Sainsbury's delivery driver could be a BNP member for all I know. Doesn't mean I'd refuse my shopping.

Tired of seeing these attempts to smear KJK as a big baddie. Yawn.
