RoyalCorgi · 26/10/2022 16:26

"Bloomsbury said sales of the wizarding stories had jumped 35pc in the first half of the year – a quarter of a century since Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was first released."

How satisfying.

I’m so shocked she hasn’t been cancelled by this tiny minority of idiots. Shocked. Ha.

How does it keep selling? Doesn't everyone already own a copy?

Children are learning to read every day.

MsTSwift · 26/10/2022 20:02

Not a HP fan but buying all the Robert Galbraith books. In hardback.

ShowOfHands · 26/10/2022 20:01

The illustrated Order of the Phoenix was just released. Is there another illustrated range I don't know about?

Got the audiobook of the first one on now for bedtime, and two versions of the books at home. Plus most of the Lego sets and the X box game. My DDs are obsessed and my DH is very happy to engage them in HP conversation at every opportunity. I need to swot up!

StaunchMomma · 26/10/2022 19:51

Regardless of anyone's opinion on JK Rowling, denying kids the absolute joy of reading the HP series is just bloody stupid.

ChlorineChris · 26/10/2022 19:49

Great!

Can't have too many copies, can you?

And there's always a.lovely new generation who need the joy of ownership too!!

GrumpyMenopausalWombWielder · 26/10/2022 19:38
