Once the misogyny of ELO’s posts had become pointed out repeatedly on different threads, and the constant cognitive distortions they relied on to attempt to convince others, there is no where else to go.

Once it becomes clear that all you have left is guilt by association and ‘Wikipedia’ as your authority, and that you cannot understand even basic safeguarding and think that exposing children to sexual fetishes in IKEA is perfectly fine and applauded because ‘freedom to be who they are in their public life’, and you have actively minimised the plight of female prisoners and dismissed even one women’s health in sport…. there must come a time you realise you are actively harming a community you profess to support.

And when feminists suggest posters are a ‘plant’ because the poster is such a stereotypical extreme trans activist that you really are harming that community you say you belong to, it must finally sink in.

I just read that post on the archive site.

It really did all come down to ‘kindness’, but that kindness only going towards trans people and not women and children.

The complete lack of self awareness that some people have regarding their own actions is always a surprise.

It seems that this was a poster who believes that ‘male’ is a gender identity???? Really. After all this discussion that is the first point.

After we are told constantly that no trans person denies their sex? Yet, we are reprimanded for using sex in discussions were sex is important?

But I particularly liked the ‘you are all old and going to die out soon’ and the ‘if you just used kindness you would be more palatable’.

No I don't think it was really offensive. There was an awful lot of 'you think this and 'you think that' but that's pretty much all I remember

Regarding rugby, transwoman Miranda Yardley asked the local rugby club men's team if they were happy for Miranda to join and they were - super inclusive!

Thanks to all for highlighting the hypocrisy and reality of ELOs "tiny number" when used in conjunction with trans v women's rights, it was hugely illuminating.

Yes, yes we are being kind to women. There is zero kindness towards women to pretend a man can be a woman.

There is also no kindness in telling a man that anyone sees them as a woman or believes they are a woman.

Kindness towards people is doing what is best for them and best for society. Hence we need to say "no" to men when they want to enter spaces for women.
