I just love this woman! She undoubtedly has the Midas touch when it comes to marketing and publicity.

I have been to several of her events over the years, and she has time for each and every woman who comes to see her.

Any other fans here?

@DrLouiseJMoody
Only thing is Kathleen Stock doesn't tend to "bump into"/"randomly" come across noted fascists and neo nazis all the time in her travels...

Because Kathleen Stock doesn't hold open mic rallies though. Does she?

Debate is the opposite of "standing alongside" or however you want to put it.

Unless you think that by commenting on this thread you are showing support for KJK? It does clearly say "appreciation thread" after all... Or do your rules not apply to you? Why not?

Do you happen to have a link for that, please?

And did you catch which people they described as 'far right' in Australia?

So, have I got this right? KJK looks like a 60s housewife. People were openly racist in the 60s; therefore, KJK is a racist.

Well, that's conclusive enough for me!

Conclusive evidence that ELO has rarely, if ever, visited Planet Earth.

”Really”. Yes.

Hey! Vegetarians!!

Be appraised that the only 'Vegetarian conference' you should ever attend has been 100% checked for any person who doesn't align with you on all other political aspects of life!

Else you will be considered as 'politically aligned' with them.

How about none of us ever go to any conference ever again!

You are absurd now.

Tell you one thing I love about KJK. Her jumpsuits! That lady can rock a jumpsuit. She's got great style.

I do love a jumpsuit!

They give KJK the air of an action hero - Annika Rice crossed with Katherine Hepburn.

the entry on her is accurate though.

pull yer finger out and look at the actual references, not share this generic stuff

That Wikipedia entry starts with:

"Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull, also known as Posie Parker, is a British anti-transgender rights activist"

She is not an anti-transgender rights activist. She is pro-woman.

There is an entire section on 'Anti-Trans Activism'.

So, really ELO I think your bar for accuracy is very low from the very start.

"Keen opposes civil rights protections for gender identity, particularly laws and policies that allow transgender people to be legally recognized as their gender, to use public facilities according to their gender, and to compete in sports, with an emphasis on opposing transgender women's inclusion in women's spaces."

KJK does not oppose 'civil rights protections' for trans people. ELO how about you tell us what 'civil rights protections' do you think that trans people don't have?

Please list them.

Because being 'legally' recognised as their gender does not automatically grant any male access to female single sex spaces and sports. Yet, this wikipedia entry seems to think that is a 'civil right' that should be automatically granted.

And the articles that have used for sources are not known for their balanced views. Some, such as Pink News, seems to have very low bars for evidence at all (as Julie Bindel can attest to).

Take for instance one of the sources from the first paragraph that covered the December protest that was violent and abusive in New York. It seemed to avoid mentioning the assault and spitting by trans protested, it seemed to avoid mentioning the abuse that two trans models gave to feminists merely attending to speak in public.

So, I think that anyone reading that Wikipedia entry would indeed benefit from looking further and seeing original source material. Generally there is a video from events that have been used to report on.

Strangely, my teen has been taught to do this at their school. They are taught that everything on wikipedia should be checked at original source and bias checked.

Yet... ELO is here telling us all that wikipedia is a source of 'truth' 100% of the time and 100% accurate.

Adulting is pretty hard. We know this.

”Really”. Yes.

I strongly suspect I am vastly more knowledgeable about the history and culture of holocaust denial.

There are “lefty” holocaust deniers you know.

EastLondonObserver · 12/01/2023 14:01

Helleofabore · 12/01/2023 13:53

Really?

So, so all vegetarians are aligned with all other vegetarians if they all attended a vegetarian conference and spoke about their vegetarian choices. And got their photo's taken with other vegetarians they all are aligned politically?

By the way, here is KJK's speech at that conference.

A conference where in the first paragraphs she declares she is a 'lefty'.

”Really”. Yes.

Helleofabore · 12/01/2023 14:01

watch not 'whats'

Helleofabore · 12/01/2023 14:00

I recommend every reader what this video from that conference.

This presentation is as far from 'holocaust denial' as possible whatever ELO is attempting to portray.

I also recommend that if you cannot discuss what the issues are with the actual video, that, ELO, says everything anyone needs to know about you and your motivation on this thread.

I am listening and she has so far discussed males who joined women only groups, and now she is talking about Susie Green and the issues around Susie Green and Mermaids.

EastLondonObserver · 12/01/2023 13:33

Most credible people draw the line at holocaust deniers.

It's so funny that you can never mention KJK without the same few people turning up to froth at the mouth and try to convince us that she's evil and bad. They have no evidence, no reason, and no clue. But still they somehow think it's worth a punt! So funny.
