I just love this woman! She undoubtedly has the Midas touch when it comes to marketing and publicity.

I have been to several of her events over the years, and she has time for each and every woman who comes to see her.

Any other fans here?

Oh, sorry, that's now how this game works, Bosky. It's us wee wims that are obliged to scurry about providing evidence for these bullshit assertions. ELO is far too important to do any googling himself. Keeps us busy, eh?

Bosky · 13/01/2023 14:33

EastLondonObserver · 13/01/2023 14:27

We haven’t yet discussed the props she’s given to Tommy Robinson. Thoughts?

Evidence?

Bosky · 13/01/2023 14:31

I appreciate that Kellie-Jay has decided to visit Newcastle and Glasgow in the middle of winter - although I do wonder if she appreciates quite how cold it is up north this time of year? 🥶 🤧😂

"Let Women Speak 2023 - Newcastle, London, Glasgow and in March Australia and New Zealand"

Gosh! Two meanings of "appreciate" in one sentence!

Let's have another one!

Kellie-Jay's reputation appears to appreciate in value despite the best (frankly fumbling and boring) attempts of her opponents to spread fear, loathing and hatred across multiple social medal platforms. 😎

Do you have Marketing textbooks from 1991 in your library ELO?

Ok, so you are just making it up

EastLondonObserver · 13/01/2023 14:25

Helleofabore · 13/01/2023 14:23

Oh.... it is not just feminists, businesses and political strategiests using it

www.gendergp.com/why-we-need-to-end-gatekeeping/

It is gender ideologues too....

Lol - not as a verb!

Title, page number?

And remember we were discussing whether it was “widely” used.

And yet.. I found it in my Marketing textbook from 1991.

Oh.... right. Marketing is a business 'outlier'!

Here are a few of the other speakers at this conference in Norway:

Please name the speaker who is a holocaust denier, because I could not find that politician named amongst the videos of the sessions from that February event. I am not denying that Hans Jørgen Lysglimt Johansen was at the event, do you have any evidence that he was speaking? At all?

Or was he just there.

Here are the ones that I could find. It seems that this was a focused event on Gender Identity.

Marit Ronstad

She is discussing ROGD. You know, that medical phenomenon that does not happen according to extreme trans activists who are putting teenagers at significant risk through the denial?

Here is her profile on Genspect:

genspect.org/team/

Marit Halvorsen

A law professor discussing the impact of gender laws in Norway. She is one of Norways leading health law experts and has a history in women's rights studies and campaigning.

Lars Akerhaug

Talking about the laws being passed around gender identity from an investigative journalist point of view. It seems that Lars is from the left.

And some music from Hungry Hearts performing Laika & Vagina Anthem.

Hungry Hearts is a lesbian artist collective that has participated in over 50 international film festivals, the Norwegian "Høstutstillingen" (Autumn Exhibition), CODE, European Song Contest, and The Norwegian Opera with short films, concerts and performances. Hungry Hearts' first album Dyke Forever was released in 2016. In 2018, Hungry Hearts was refused to perform Vagina Anthem at Haugar Vestland Kunstmuseum after pressure from transactivists claiming Vagina Anthem could be perceived as offensive by some transgender people. The recording of the telephone call (in Norwegian) from the museum is part of the performance.

Now ELO. How about that evidence that Hans Jørgen Lysglimt Johansen was speaking and what he spoke about please.

I’ve just emailed him and the conference organisers. I also asked about her selfie with him.

Will post on a new thread when I get a reply.

The word might exist, but it’s not commonly used as a verb, is it? Especially in business as mentioned upthread. Sorry.

And yet.. I found it in my Marketing textbook from 1991.

EastLondonObserver · 13/01/2023 14:14

He he.

laughter.

You mean 'hee hee'. But we've established that words and meanings are not a strength of yours.

Getting back to the point of the thread, one of the things I admire about KJK is her verbal fluency. She's a very articulate and eloquent speaker.

DialSquare · 13/01/2023 14:15

What was funny about it?

EastLondonObserver · 13/01/2023 14:14

DialSquare · 13/01/2023 14:11

He he

I thought misgendering was literal violence. Hypocrite.

He he.

laughter.

EastLondonObserver · 13/01/2023 14:13

beastlyslumber · 13/01/2023 14:11

Yes, it's used as a verb! What do you think a gatekeeper is? A gatekeeper is a person who gatekeeps.

I know I shouldn't respond to these posts because it must be so embarrassing for you to not have such basic knowledge. But you really need to educate yourself, I'm afraid.

Not used as a verb though, is it?

Remember the debate was whether “to gatekeep” is a commonly used verb.

Nice try but no prize for you this time.

Arabella you are on fire! I could not have been arsed... but you could and you did!

Applause!

Except she….didn’t. Because her example wasn’t a verb. I’m sorry :(

EastLondonObserver · 13/01/2023 14:08

beastlyslumber · 13/01/2023 14:08

She's definitely not as well known as JK Rowling.

But she's a lot more well known than you.

He he!

beastlyslumber · 13/01/2023 14:08

EastLondonObserver · 13/01/2023 14:06

I would suggest she’s a non-entity pretty much in the broader public mind.

Wow, is ELO still wanging on about KJK?

Rent free...

EastLondonObserver · 13/01/2023 14:06

PomegranateOfPersephone · 13/01/2023 13:37

And yet it seems to work rather effectively 🤔

Also it is okay to talk to and associate with people who have different opinions to you on a variety of topics. I don’t know how any society, community or family would function without dialogue and associations between people who have different opinions.

I would suggest she’s a non-entity pretty much in the broader public mind.
