I just love this woman! She undoubtedly has the Midas touch when it comes to marketing and publicity.

I have been to several of her events over the years, and she has time for each and every woman who comes to see her.

Any other fans here?

No platforming is a tool OF fascism, not a way to defeat fascism.

I’m anti all forms of authoritarianism, personally.

Bad arguments/opinions are defeated by better arguments/opinions.

You'd think, wouldn't you, with all the current debates around the concepts of censorship, cancellation, free speech, etc, that people would actually understand this.

Boiledbeetle · 16/01/2023 22:28

@ArtixLynx so you know for future this is KJK

And @ArtixLynx changes the subject conveniently ignoring all the commentary about intimidating and threatening men coming to prevent women speak.

Who did that? It sounds like another accusation without any basis.

You're 100% correct. It's just an accusation with literally zero basis or evidence to support it.

TRAs getting desperate!

i am absolutely in favour of not platforming antisemitism, or the arguments used to justify it, aren't you?

@Datun I am very glad to hear she was a body guard and I am sure she has taken professional advice about protection for herself and family because she is not stupid.

then someone needs to publically disclaim whoever that is.

That is BAD press for the movement.

The old.. if it walks like a duck, talks like a duck.
By letting someone use the open mic at rallys with her name on, and not speaking out against is, she is condoning it.

When you supply a platform for abuse, you are as bad as the abuser.

Are you seriously arguing in support of no platforming?

Datun · 16/01/2023 18:07

Apparently she now has to have a bodyguard

That's how much men want her to shut up.

WarriorN · 16/01/2023 17:49

The platform is provided; perhaps those critical of speakers should do their own speeches there.

Admiringly describing masked, violent men, who try to frighten women into not speaking as 'democracy in action.'

😁

Yes. And while this counter protest was well controlled, it was again by males who dress with the intent to intimidate. An act of indirect violence.

And while this time they were kept well back, it is not democratic to drown out others opinions in this way. It is an act of totalitarianism.

Democracy would involve females from that movement coming up and speaking at the microphone.

But in a world where misgendering is labelled violence and sex by deception is sought to be removed in the case of trans people, and that the words describing the female half of the population have been appropriated, then I am not surprised that democracy is confused with totalitarianism.

Sure, it is legal. But it is not democracy in action.

OneMorePlant · 16/01/2023 17:24

Just want to add my opinion. Kellie-Jay Keen is amazing and I love everything she does.

Looking forward to her political campaign it's going to be amazing.

All I can say about KJK is she gives me courage and motivates me to not be sacred and to get off the couch to do something IRL to show my opposition to Gender Ideology and how dangerous it is to women and children. How the TRAs are getting away with all this insanity is by intimidating and frightening people, especially women. The majority disagree with them but people don’t speak up at work and in public because of how they believe they will be persecuted and socially ostracized. This is demonstrated when KJK and other women go outside to give their views in public (about anything) and the opposition is an angry threatening crowd, with many men willing to cover their faces and physically attack women.

I have no time for anyone that criticizes KJK while not first denouncing this aggressive and intimidating behavior and asking all demonstrators in opposition to her to show their faces and refrain from wearing Black Bloc. There is literally no comparison to men publically intimating and physically attacking women and women speaking.

WarriorN · 16/01/2023 16:54

Probably both Beastly.

RoseslnTheHospital · 16/01/2023 16:40

"Democracy in action" sure looks similar to a small group of vocal, aggressive, intolerant, illiberal people disrupting reasonable debate.

beastlyslumber · 16/01/2023 16:39

Personally I feel its never a good move because it always ends up with half the audience not understanding the context and purpose, as clearly here.

They can't understand it or they think they'll be able to twist it to suit their purposes?

WarriorN · 16/01/2023 16:38

I must have watched an entirely different speech.

The whole speech mentioning hitler was about lies - the key lie that men are women.

The point was that as history has shown us, if lies are repeated enough by powerful men it infects and coerces enough people to do very bad things. she referenced Hitler's tactics. There were men screaming abuse a few yards away.

Personally I feel its never a good move because it always ends up with half the audience not understanding the context and purpose, as clearly here.

beastlyslumber · 16/01/2023 16:37

Hahaha sorry but that's hilarious! Someone who isn't KJK said something that isn't remotely supportive of Hitler and we're supposed to denounce KJK and withdraw our support!!! Come on.

Does it ever worry you that the things you say and claims you make have no logical or factual basis? It would worry me if I found myself in that situation. It would prompt me to ask myself if I really knew what the hell I was talking about.

Well, considering she also allowed a female who was an extreme trans activist to speak, you tell us?

Or are you talking about the crowds of protesters who can’t help but to assault women as well as attempt to silence them? because I don’t know, maybe you could also tell us that too, why some people cannot allow women to just speak and to gather to discuss things without the protests, without the spitting and the assaulting women. Or even without screaming at babies either?

Because those vile approaches seem pretty common.

I think people gather in protest to try to drown out views and approaches they find appalling and harmful, as they are aware (and history clearly shows us) that harmful views and approaches can sometimes gain traction in public discourse leading to discrimination and much worse.

I don't condone any illegal actions in this process, on the part of anyone attending or protesting. But if you support the right of some to speak then you support the right of others to speak, and this might involve them drowning out some voices, that's often a numbers game and democracy in action.

Why do you think people with such vile approaches are attracted to her events? 🤔

Did you even know who Kellie Jay Keen was before posting that?

You seem to not know but was all ready to believe that she was someone who quoted Hilter.

Her events are open to any female who wants to say something. She even allows extreme trans activists to speak (although that one then stole her equipment!).

Did you do any research before coming to post? At all?

ArtixLynx · 16/01/2023 15:34

the video literally has her name on the screen during the speech! If that definitely isn't her, then she needs to address who's ascribed her name and find out who that actually is!

From Newcastle yesterday apparently!

This post is so revealing, you are outraged by words you ascribe to a woman you don't even recognise. You couldn't make it much clearer your anger is a product of hearsay rather than personal research. The evil PP has a YouTube channel where you could actually listen to what she has to say.

I think it's safe to disregard your accusations.
