Joules flying the trans flag

I attended two excellent sessions entitled "Misogyny: Why won't it Die?" and "Defending Women's Sport" today. Might as well advertise next years, I'm fed up of these misogynists trying to intimidate us.

Here is yesterday's migration and motherhood panel, featuring a migrant domestic worker, Southall Black Sisters, a survivor of domestic abuse, a film maker who is telling the stories of women refugees and their children, women telling the true picture of the commercial, international surrogacy business.

This is what these activists don't want us to be able to talk about. And these idiot shop workers in their unthinking compliance.

This weekend I saw flags in the windows of many cafes and small businesses in the arcades close to the venue on Saturday. The big stores included: Vans, All Saints, Joules, Fred Perry. I haven’t seen these shops display flags until this weekend.

I saw the guy from the Queer Emporium walk past that area a few times yesterday (which is to be expected as he works in Cardiff), but put two and two together and guessed that the flags had come from there. They have form for complaining about other businesses.

Can you please explain then why someone was asking shops to display the trans flag then?

Putting a trans flag in a shop window in support of trans rights isn't trolling for goodness sake.

I remember the same argument being made when a billboard was put up in Liverpool saying 'Woman: Adult human female.'

But no, that couldn't be allowed to stand. Had to be taken down, because the male-bodied women didn't like it.

Of course we know not everything is always about women. Even the definition of women, it seems.

A FiLIA conference is ALL about women.

Why would TRAs chose that particular weekend to use shops to fly their flag? Wouldn't be to try and make it all about them, would it? Hypocrisy much.

Sounds like the person visiting shops in the city centre to hand out flags to hang up may have altered his/her pitch from shop to shop. It's so clearly a response to FiLiA's presence.

Yesterday afternoon we listened to a group of seven women from around the world discuss migration and motherhood.

The auditorium was full of women, and yet people are sharing photos of a Leave Means Leave rally in Bolton in 2018 and saying it was FiLia 2022. Bonkers.
