Imagine the hoo ha if shops put Adult human female flags or suffragette colours in their windows when there was a trans conference nearby.

Funny how there wasn't one there before a conference about VAWG, and there isn't there one after.

It would be Noel Edmonds getting married somewhere labelled "the Church of Crinkley Bottom", and we'd have to explain that Crinkley Bottom wasn't a real place.

I suppose we ought to be grateful the trans flags were only hanging in shops and restaurants/pubs etc. And the terf stickers were just stuck all around.
I've just seen what happened to Maya and Helen last night. Loads of brave blokes in balaclavas with their "totally not trying to intimidate" women flags, screaming terfs at two women having a pint in the pub.

I'd much rather live in 2022 where gay and trans people can have rights and marry etc and see flags supporting LGBT people having rights

Oh ffs where to start - as a gay person living in 2022, I'm watching the TQ+ part of the letter string remove my rights at high speed, so no, as a gay person I'm not celebrating and I have very very little pride left at all because of the utter mess being created

Trust me darling, in the 90s it was way, way, way better. We were allowed to be homosexual for a start, and people weren't committing safeguarding disasters and blaming it on us. You're kidding yourself, you really are.

What has a trans flag got to do with a Feminist Conference? Why the need to put it up and tell shopkeepers there was an anti-trans meeting going on? Let's hear your defence of that?

How amazing to hear that some shops when hearing they have been lied to took the flags down.

I really am finding it outstanding that we have posters on this thread a) putting up pics they have not checked (ie. If they were posted by anyone saying that was the LGB Alliance conference, doesn’t that give you pause??? Why the lie?) b) supporting a person lying to other businesses to get a trans flag up in the window, c) despite being told on other threads still have posters using dehumanising language against feminists.

It doesn’t surprise me, but those posters cannot understand that if they cannot see the dishonesty in these instances, what else are they missing. They don’t seem to be able to recognise dishonesty when it is right there in front of them.

But they are on the right side of history apparently….
