I saw yesterday that he'd decided to detransition but only with regards to gender. He still seems to identify as Korean. Looking at his twitter he's not getting much engagement atm. Declared pronouns: HE/HIM KOR/EAN.

Definitely trolling. Think he's wandered into something, realised it's a bit daft but people take it very seriously, and is now just playing.

While keeping a career of sorts active.

When I clicked on this thread I was half thinking that maybe he was dead. Well, it seems she is dead and he is very much alive.

Sorry! There isn't a link that encapsulates the whole story. I've only been vaguely aware of this person/story and never quite sure what the motivation is. However it seems to have generated a lot of discussion around the various issues we discuss here is why is it not ok to culturally appropriate but it is ok to appropriate womanhood, and what makes you true trans - dedication to surgery? Time spent dressed as a woman? A name change?

Interesting that JK has been credited but in a post that sounds flippant or sarcastic - difficult to grasp the tone (for me)

I am sire there are posters here with a much better grasp of the back history and the relevance/likelihood of impact than me.
