Tom is angry at women who want their own category in sports and the interviewer does not even quiz him on it.

Tom is a misogynist.

Misogyny is what allows otherwise intelligent people to hold these views.

A misogynist reporter and a misogynist newspaper do not challenge these views.

A misogynist society applauds people who hold these views. It's often especially necessary for women to be misogynist to get ahead.

This misogynist society exists in an often even more misogynist world.

I don't understand why people, who are of reasonable intelligence, find it so hard to comprehend why you can't allow a man to compete with women.

And that trans people just have to compete in the sex they were born.

And when he discusses that if he was told he couldn't compete he wouldn't have tried, does he not understand that there are thousands of people who could do very well in sport who don't have to the opportunity either though lack of encouragement, family finances, time etc? Probably kids are unable to train and compete in sport due to poverty than being trans, but he isn't doing anything about that.

Adults are banned from the junior events, no one falsely complains that adults are banned from competing.

The hypocrisy is breathtaking.

Aside from the fact NO ONE IS BANNING TRANS PEOPLE FROM COMPETING!! They just need to compete with fellow members of their own sex.
