This ‘nurse’ believes that covid vaccines are part of a global conspiracy to poison their recipients, lost her job in the NZ public health system for refusing to receive a covid vaccination after it was made compulsory for front-line health workers, had her practising certificate suspended by the Nursing Council for running a social media campaign against the NZ covid vaccination program, and attended a violent protest that illegally occupied the NZ Parliamentary precinct earlier this year.

The mainstream media's behaviour has been distasteful,
repugnant, rabid, crazy and worse when it comes to gender ideology.

If scepticism towards the media outlet or the person disseminating information encourages a viewer to look further and check with other sources, so much the better.

Trying to suppress this woman's views is repugnant under the circumstances. She's trying to inform the public of institutional abuse.

Is it like PosiePatker situation where we're supposed to disregard what she has to say because she's been on Fox?

As a person who isn't Catholic and who is not (by a long shot) a fan of the church am I supposed to disregard Caroline Farrow because she's Catholic and holds views I wholeheartedly disagree with?

Do you believe that we can fundamentally disagree on certain topics and agree on others? Or am I tainted if I support someone - on one issue - who I think has repugnant ideas on an other?

And does this change when someone is made a persona non grata due to our agreeing ideas not being the mainstream narrative?

I haven't watched this video yet. Should I not because it will mean I support the racist, xenophobic killer?

If some people are delegitimised by their appearance on certain channels, are they delegitimised by their appearance on others? If the NZ nurse appeared on BBC R4's Today programme at the 8am slot just after the needs (the main slot) for an interview, would that turn things around?

I'm genuinely wondering btw - and realise I may sound disingenuous, but I'm not - because on threads like this it becomes an issue where I don't see a way out?

Relating it to this thread in particular, to not derail, are you suggesting that we shouldn't listen to the NZ nurse? If not, what or who should I watch/listen to from NZ, instead of this video, that is from a "safe" source and has the same info?

You don't have to delve too deep on Jennifer Scott's fb page to find the crazy. She actually lost her job last year due to the vaccine mandate (she is a rabid anti-vaxxer).

Agree with @landOFconfusion, her association with Counterspin Media is of concern. I don't think she should be given any airtime here.

She is however choosing to partner with Counterspin Media … a legitimately horrifying media outlet that actively spreads disinformation and conspiracy theories.

Her willingness to join forces with Counterspin Media is distasteful and repugnant.

So ignore the message (regardless of its legitimacy and accuracy) because of the means/method/organisation by which it is broadcast?

That is complete bullshit - and anyone with the slightest critical thinking capacity knows it.

When the mainstream media won't allow push back against dangerous ideology, whistle blowers are left with few alternatives to get their message out. People are interested in the content, not the delivery mechanism.

For those who are unfamiliar with the New Zealand media landscape, the reference to her conducting an interview with Counterspin Media is evidence - in itself - that Jennifer Scott needs to prevented from working in the healthcare system.

Counterspin media is the New Zealand equivalent to Infowars. It employs
far right agitators such as Kelvyn Alps (who was recently arrested for
distributing copies of the Christchurch Mosque shooting video), is streamed on the Steve Bannon owned GTV platform, and specialises in conspiracy theories and other nonsense such as climate change denial, covid vaccines being a tool for
conducting genocide, and the UN taking over the world to establish a one world
government.

I have no doubt that this video will be gleefully received by those who consume their media without stopping to question where it comes from.
