Jennifer Scott, registered nurse from New Zealand gives a presentation to educate on puberty blockers whilst under suspension for her beliefs.
Not seen anything else on here about her. Looks to be very recent (Sept 22)

@MauisLeftNipple what silly lies you tell. NZ has a high covid vaccine rate. Like everywhere. Can you please stop derailing the thread about covid. It’s against talk guidelines to do so.

the thread is about the former nz Nurse and puberty blockers use in NZ.

WahineToa · 11/10/2022 08:37

That it has nothing to do with the video is a tactic well used by those who don’t want discussion about the video. As we know.

Exactly this. Most here will be from the UK so won’t even know, care or think about the media platforms in little old NZ. I’ve had lots of contact with one of the mainstream ones, who took money from the government to publish their ‘one truth’ on covid and not question it in any way. They are unbelievably misogynistic behind the scenes, deplorable on domestic violence and on womens rights they don’t care one bit. I complained once that their article on world rugby was factually incorrect for stating they had banned transwomen from playing, as they could still play in the male category. They answered with one sentence: complaint not accepted as you believe transwomen are not women and we believe they are. That’s word for word. What kind of journalist responds to a factual inaccuracy that way?? I didn’t even mention what I believed. They’re nuts.

MauisLeftNipple · 11/10/2022 08:33

Another friend of Counterspin Media has also spoken out against trans ideology. She is also a rabid antivaxxer and conspiracy theorist - she has lost her FB page for these reasons. People like her are the reason why many thousands of NZers, including close relatives of mine, did not get vaccinated against covid, and also pretty much believe covid is a hoax. They are dangerous people and do not need any more publicity, whatever their message in other issues.

Helleofabore · 11/10/2022 08:32

No it isn’t, it just makes you look insane. It also has nothing to do with the topic of the video.

Rather interesting to see someone declare a post pointing bout their own posting history as ‘stalker’ material, while that person is attempting to use this nurse’s history to discredit them. Maybe not insane, but certainly hypocritical and lacking in self awareness.

And extreme.

That it has nothing to do with the video is a tactic well used by those who don’t want discussion about the video. As we know.

WahineToa · 11/10/2022 08:23

Bit bored of purity spirals now

the madness of thinking that way. You can tell who has actually had to fight for their rights though. Maori women don’t have the luxury of only associating with people that think the same way as us on every little thing, we’d never get anything done that way.

Helleofabore · 11/10/2022 08:23

A stalker? Me? No. I just read threads here and remember user names sometimes when they seem to be only about shaming people for discussing the rights of women and children. Your username has cropped up on several threads. Particularly your posts about Fred Sargeant.

Perhaps my comment about your opinions being extreme were rather more accurate than I expected.

I suspect that your intention is not to push back against a person who has engaged in vocal and persistent opposition to covid vaccines is a community service.

It seems from your history that you don’t seem to support the discussion here about the protection of rights for women and children against conflicts of another group. I would suggest your aim is more about this than covid protests.

TheClogLady · 11/10/2022 08:20

Being against vaccine mandates is a perfectly mainstream opinion.

Bit bored of purity spirals now.

Oh joy of joys. I have a stalker of my very own. What a wonderful day. Shall we go to the park and fulfil your weird stalkerish fantasies together?

Pushing back against a person who has engaged in vocal and persistent opposition to covid vaccines is a community service. You can thank me later.

Why are you derailing?
Can you change sex? Should we send children down a road of self mutilation?

WahineToa · 11/10/2022 08:14

why aren’t you answering my question, are you Maori? Using the word ‘mana’ and declaring an entire group, most who were completely non-violent’ and many who are Maori, have none is a shitty thing to do for anyone. If pakeha as well then you’ve exposed yourself for who and what you are quite spectacularly.

Clearly not clearing.

WahineToa. My ‘position’ is that nurses that believe Covid vaccinations are part of a global conspiracy to poison people have demonstrated that:

  1. They are neither suitable or capable of working as a healthcare professional.
  2. Their opinions are uninformed, unscientific, and idiotic.
  3. They do not deserve to have the voices and opinions amplified.

What was it you said about tone policing on another thread where you posted a thread clearing indicating your derision for this board?

And yet you are actively policing discussion here.

Hypocritical of you, no?

And what is it about protests that irks you so much that you posted a victim blaming post about how Fred Sargeant, a founder of the Pride movement, was responsible for his own assault by peacefully protesting at Pride about how far that event has moved from the principles of its creation and creators.

A lone 70-something year old man who was a pioneer of gay rights movements was peacefully protesting and was assaulted and you told us that he was to blame for his assault.

Please stop policing who users and readers of this board should or shouldn’t watch, listen to or read. If anything, your own views come across extreme so perhaps you look at this nurses actions differently to others who would like to make up their own mind.

WahineToa · 11/10/2022 07:52

I think anyone that either supports or says nothing about the use of puberty blockers in children has shown they’re not capable or trustworthy enough to be healthcare professionals. There’s quite a lot of them in NZ.

WahineToa · 11/10/2022 07:50

landOFconfusion

Are you Maori? Just questioning because you think you can decide an entire group including many Maori that you don’t know, have no mana. Bad for anyone to say but particularly if pakeha and using our words to be so vile.

I don’t think anyone who condones and minimises domestic violence of women and girls should have their voices and opinions amplified, but they’re in government. Funny how you’ll completely dismiss this women on unrelated issues but you’ve not said anything about the fact most kiwis completely disregard violence against women when it comes to the all blacks, including the PM.

Anyway, I support anyone speaking out on this issue regardless of what they think elsewhere on vaccinations! I couldn’t give a fuck about that.

This also a great kiwi channel, here speaking about Dept of Ed and what they’re teaching our children in Nz:

Yet she’s right about puberty blockers.

Funny how grown ups can have a discussion about nuance, isn’t it?

CoalTit · 11/10/2022 07:38

Please don’t amplify her voice. You don’t have to live here and deal with the consequences of giving exposure to idiots.

She's drawing attention to serious abuse of vulnerable people, some of them minors, by the medical profession. People in positions of power cheer on that kind of abuse, calling it "gender-affirmative care". Members of the public swallow it. And you think she's the idiot here?

Helleofabore · 11/10/2022 07:33

Nobody really cares what she thinks on other issues, it won’t result in dismissal of her views here on this topic.

Well. What I meant in my specific post was that her views will be considered but that the discussion will happen. People will watch and judge for themselves. That directives to not discuss it rarely work and often will backfire.

WahineToa · 11/10/2022 07:31

The video goes into puberty blockers. Care to discuss the actual topic of her video anyone? I have a friend in NZ who allowed her female kid to take blockers at 14. The child is very neglected and confused, taken from my friend when she was younger and later ended up living with her again. The child is unhappy but suddenly got lots of attention from her mum when she transitioned. I think this ex nurse is very brave for discussing it in a country like NZ where you can’t question the ‘one source of truth’ ( the government ).

WahineToa · 11/10/2022 07:27

What the fuck does any of that have to do with the issue of self ID or puberty blockers? Not that I would ever believe the account of anyone writing for the guardian. Like I said, every protest I’ve been to for Maori rights has been described as violent when, having actually been there, it wasn’t. The protests were escalated due to the behaviour of Mallard and the response to them initially was really bad. Nobody would talk to them at all. Your position seems to support mandatory vaccination and anyone opposed must be mental.

are you Maori then? Have you ever been to a land protest yourself? What was media response?

You’ve already been told purity spirals won’t work here. Nobody really cares what she thinks on other issues, it won’t result in dismissal of her views here on this topic.

landOFconfusion · 11/10/2022 07:12

The protests were extremely violent. The protestors set their tents on fire, burned down a children’s playground, attacked the Police and defaced the national cenotaph.

All of this is well documented. The parliamentary protestors showed to the world that they have no mana, they only have whakamā.

WahineToa · 11/10/2022 06:59

attended a violent protest that illegally occupied the NZ Parliamentary precinct earlier this year.

oh wow, oh now you’re talking about the protest against mandatory covid vaccines for everyone? Claiming the protest itself was violent. You know that was claimed when we occupied Pakaitore, the media you accept was disgustingly racist to us and printed lie after lie, it’s claimed for most Maori protests against land confiscations… protesting is the right of every citizen in a free country. Which NZ doesn’t appear to be any longer. What exactly does attending that protest have to do with this woman’s gender critical beliefs?

WahineToa · 11/10/2022 06:55

Please don’t amplify her voice. You don’t have to live here and deal with the consequences of giving exposure to idiots.

you already have that in abundance, clearly as self ID is law and media like Stuff are fully onboard with the idiocy of TWAW and will lie and distort stories to support that.

WahineToa · 11/10/2022 06:48

The absolute stupidity of dismissing what someone says because of the platform or who they ‘partner with’. Respectable media platforms would include BBC, who covered up a rampant pedophile. Is anyone who appears on their channel in agreement or condoning what they did with regards to Savile? Being on twitter, does that mean you support a pedophiles right to discuss their attractions publicly on that platform? Because the T & Cs of Twitter with regards to ‘minor attracted persons’ is pretty grim.

as for refusing a covid vaccine, the UK tried to force that on health care workers and public backlash ( and losing thousands of care workers when they did it to them ) prevented it. I don’t believe anyone should be forced to take it and completely and utterly disagree with any country that implements that policy. especially when it disproportionately affects and criminalises Maori. Thankfully people in UK push back a lot more when it comes to their freedom than kiwis do. It has literally nothing to do with anyones views on biological sex and the importance of acknowledging it for the safety of girls and women. Who NZ as a society has never cared a whole lot about, we have the highest rate of domestic violence in the developed world. So bad that rugby players don’t even get convicted when they do it in the street with witnesses! Darling kind Jacinda went and partied with the All Blacks at the World Cup, despite the fact a domestic abuser was amongst them having committed a horrible act of violence months earlier. Nobody cared about purity then did they? Should we assume everyone who supports the all blacks, and that’s a lot of kiwis, go round beating their wives, girlfriends and kids??

I mean if we want to start making judgements on New Zealand and who is and isn’t pure enough to listen to, let’s have it. Because you don’t be left with many options, trust me.

Helleofabore · 11/10/2022 06:28

I suspect that many will simply go and watch the YouTube link and discuss the content on its merits despite any pressure not to.

Regular users on this board are getting pretty tired of attempts to direct who we should and shouldn’t listen to. The background information is appreciated , but not the directive to not give ‘air time’.

Particularly after the last few weeks here in the UK.
