Prisoners abuse self id. Who'd have thought it?

In news that will shock literally no one on the feminism boards, half the trans prisoners in Scottish jails felt their inner sense of self was female AFTER being convicted.

Numbers in the study are are low, as it covers just Scotland and I'm assuming doesn't include anyone with a GRC. It still is rather illuminating though. It's almost as if perpetrators of certain types of crimes are taking advantage of the system......

Wonder how many will become men again on release?

There was a Scottish prison study done early this year or late last year that found that yes, some of these transitioned male did miraculously become male on release.

Are we just doing a tick box excercise in things that were never going to happen and posters here were regularly abused over the years for saying it already was? Everyday there's another thread proving we are right but there's no glory in it, too many women, children and vulnerable people damaged along the way.
