Poor Caroline. The only "malicious communications" the police should be concerned with are those which break sensible laws, like incitement to violence or actual threats of harm. You know, like the ones ao-called activists send women every day

I'd also be very wary of this being used as an opportunity to coerce two MN users to come forward to prove they aren't Caro, and them being doxxed so please take care you two.

Apart from that, this is terrifying. Being arrested for a meme? Of course now everyone will be hunting down the meme and more people will see it. And in turn this will identify the 'reporter' even more.

And so it goes. Terrorising women and petrifying kids, what a great look.

I've just been reading Caroline's Twitter thread. Agree it's best to discuss the issues of unknown people online using the police to target women in this way rather than speculate about the identity of the complainant.
