Breast binders can be sent directly to a minor without her parents' knowledge or permission because families are toxic and all parents are cisheteronormative hateful bigots who want their children to suffer and not live their best lives and the online rainbow glitter family know much better what's right for a young teen.

Because if you don’t allow a pubescent girl to damage her skin/lungs/breast tissue/bones/other in this fashion i. you do not really love her & ii. she will definitely kill herself & It. Will. Be. All. Your. Fault.

It is totally safe. Especially extra safe if a girl is receiving care for a medical (or indeed MH) condition & her team have said she must not use a binder.

Breast binders are okay because if they're not allowed to use them they'll use duct tape ot staples or something worse. I mean we could stop telling kids to bind but....bigot!

It doesn't harm biological males, so it's only biological females who risk the broken ribs, possible death & other pesky little details hardly worth a mention that they don't list on the product pages.

So that makes it alright then.

Breast binding is OK because I’m an adult and I know exactly what children want and what is good for them

Breast binding is OK because a child aged 11 or 12 knows exactly who they are and it’s OK to damage themselves physically

Breast binding is OK because I know a child can ask for something to harm themselves but as long as it’s to do with rainbows or some lovely name like mermaids it’s OK
