Cameron is 23 now, 21 when he wrote the tweets about his desire to commit violence against women. I don't think it makes him an upstanding member of society and although I don't recall threatening violence at that age I'm sure I said some seriously stupid shit. Thankfully social media didn't exist to preserve it for posterity.
However I'm confused about why there isn't someone older and wiser advising Cameron to reign it in and why, before taking a post as a party officer, Cameron did not think to scrub his social media.
I think speaking about women in that way must be quite normal in the SNP so Cameron probably thought there was nothing wrong with his tweets and that's what I find most troubling of all.
