Poor girl, she supports mixed sex changing because "everyone feels included" but she recommends that lone females don't use it for their own safety.
Using a fitting room shouldn't be like walking home in the dark, if you need your wits about you then women have lost something.

Woops have to retype:

I don't understand.

She said I am all for it, I guess a part of her believes that. For her to then go on and say I would rather take clothes home then goes against this idea in her head that this idea of unisex changing rooms is 'all inclusive' when she has now been 'excluded'.

Some things just have to be left as they are.

The only way to guarantee your safety and privacy is to try clothes on at home. Sad but true.

Poor girl looked terrified, she was still glancing round.

Re-reading that, it sounds harsh on her which wasnt my intention. I'm annoyed at all the people who have told her to 'be kind' to the point that she's apologising/scared etc.

Exactly. It sounds like she’s conditioned to think she must make room as it’s the kind thing to do, but her experience has thrown her, confused her, and she is struggling to reconcile the invasion of privacy she endured. I feel for her. The comments on her TikTok are in the majority saying private women-only cubicles should be the norm.

I saw that earlier and found it confusing.

If she supports unisex changing rooms so everyone's included, why is she upset? Men who want to take advantage are a subset of 'everyone'. This is literally what she supports.

What were Primark staff so good about? Apologising for letting men into a unisex changing room? Men and women is the whole point. No High Street store is going to have a member of staff manning, no pun, intended, each cubicle - and female staff are unlikely to stop a man behaving badly anyway.

I'm not convinced it's the full story, but hope I'm wrong.

This is heart breaking. She even says the Primark staff were great. How do we teach young girls righteous anger.
