Lesbians not welcome at Gay Pride

This is horrifying. Women (lesbians) told by police they are going to be removed because abuse is being hurled at these women.

Police do nothing about the person shouting the abuse.

Pride is a trans event? Hmm...

Helleofabore · 03/09/2022 12:38

oh dear! Do you honestly not see the dishonesty and hypocrisy in your posts?

You have again not understood the post.

Again. How many times can you do this across all the threads you post on.

What is it you think you are achieving?

Sorry I just happen to know that the LGBT community has distinct views the the British general population. As you said yourself, you are not an expert in LGBT matters and this is just another example of you making elementary mistakes when you comment about the community. We are all learners though!

Shall I post the other YouGov report about just how intolerant the age group 18-28 and 28-38 are in comparison to the rest of the UK society. That one is eye opening.

Never mind about reading - just watch their antics. A great compilation of the hate mobs of recent years from that "What if JK Rowling is right about everything" video someone did recently - link is to relevant section at 43:00, hopefully.

There is no corresponding behaviour from the other side. You could not do a compilation of feminists yelling at and disrupting trans events, cos it never happens.

(Although I guess sometimes women sit in the audience and ask questions. Or don't laugh at the right times.)

"You could not do a compilation of feminists yelling at and disrupting trans events"

You must not have read the top post in this thread?? This exactly what Get the L Out did at Pride the other day, keep up!

LaughingPriest · 03/09/2022 12:39

@Hearach15 could you please reply to this? Which LGBT organisations do you think are confusable with the LGBA, which you have called 'transphobic'?

If you were a true trans ally, you would have responded. You didn't, so you are transphobic, or are at least deliberately trying to make trans allies look dishonest and homophobic.

See, I can make shitty, immature, false "arguments" too - anyone can - it doesn't add anything to the discussion because it's just incoherent, dishonest noise. And people deliberately doing that are Not In The Spirit of the site.

I'd still appreciate you clarifying the point you made which I have quoted. The fact you can't even explain what you yourself are talking about half the time is clear to everyone.

LGB Alliance and Get the L Out (of LGBT) are transphobic. Hope that helps!

mmm! Let’s see how this works. A group experienced in polling, takes a poll covering a sample of the total UK population ensuring for accuracy that it includes samples of all demographics within the UK.

And then…that finding can be extrapolated to reflect the age groups in the entire Uk population.

It will of course, include a sampling of LGBT people. But I didn’t say it was a LGBT
survey. I said ’Shall I post the other YouGov report about just how intolerant the age group 18-28 and 28-38 are in comparison to the rest of the UK society.’

Again, it is your twisting or whatever it is that you usually do that is on full display here.

Have you heard of the margin of error and subsampling?

So for example, if you poll people UK wide and ask them how they intend to vote you will get a picture that should be accurate within 3% plus or minus.

However, the margin of error will be much higher within certain regions because you will poll a much smaller number there. That is why the subsample of UK wide polls generally give a very poor picture of Scottish voting opinion because the margin of error is much higher within a subsample.

Explained in detail here:

anthonybmasters.medium.com/the-sub-sample-problem-ed15421c5d39

Scots make up 9% of the UK population, the LGBT population is roughly 5%. So the margin of error is even higher within that poll.

Furthermore, can you tell me whether it was even weighted to include LGBT people? Most polls are weighted by age, region, voting record and gender. Never seen one weighted with the LGBT population in mind. Can you confirm whether this is the case?

Just to be clear, hearach, which organisation is it you that you claim wanda has confused with the LGBA? I'm not sure your post makes sense.
One that is confusable with the LGBA? And how so?

A poll where most respondents are straight is not representative of the views of the LGBT community. I know you are not an expert on LGBT matters I would have thought even you would know most people in Britain are straight.

People are trying to pass homophobic legislation that will enshrine in law the idea that same-sex attracted people don’t exist, only same gender attracted. This is happening right now. Only these lesbians see what is happening and see where this ideology is leading, to the direct legislative erasure of gay people, yet apparently 90% of LGB people go to Pride and support such ideology. If that’s true, there is an awful lot of LGB people who are going to wake up one day and realise they don’t have any legal protection as a same-sex attracted person any more.

IcakethereforeIam · 03/09/2022 12:25

Really, that is what you come back with?

Fuck. You are doing great work here today.

So you think the poll you quoted is reflective of opinion in the LGBT community?

Hearach15 · 03/09/2022 12:21

Helleofabore · 03/09/2022 12:18

That is not assault

The action did qualify I believe.

How wonderfully caring you are that a gay male (who is neuro diverse I believe) was assaulted, abused and harassed in the name of tolerance for…..

wearing apparel that had an LGB Alliance logo on!

You are doing good work with this doubling down.

Taking someone hat is theft - not assault.

Not that I condone theft either. The booing I strongly condone.

If someone comes to Pride wearing a tshirt with a racist, homophobic, transphobic, sexist etc they should not expect a warm welcome.

Hearach15 · 03/09/2022 12:17

Why are people still wasting time with bad faith posters? It's best to ignore them and carry on with the actual discussion.

Yes, best ignore people who actually know something about the LGBT community. Best to live in comfortable ignorance.

IcakethereforeIam · 03/09/2022 12:19

Jesus, he was assaulted and booed for wearing a shirt! This is posted as a win for the TQ+. I

hope I'm never on the same side as the mob.

Even if I support their cause, even if they reflect my values, I hope I would never condone that. That's vile.

Actually I could be wrong, YouGov polls may be peer reviewed.

The one about intolerance was conducted by Dr Frank Luntz.

You're claiming a YouGov poll of the UK population is reflective of opinion of the LGBT community?

Clearly you know as little about polling as you do the LGBT community.

We know that he was indeed assaulted while someone grabbed his hat.

Well done for celebrating the assault of a gay male at Pride because he didn’t conform to the crowds way of thinking.

Shall I post the other YouGov report about just how intolerant the age group 18-28 and 28-38 are in comparison to the rest of the UK society. again. I know we have posted for you before…. Did you ever read it? That one is eye opening.

Because those really intolerant people believe they are the MOST wonderfully tolerant. Solidarity and all.

"Because those really intolerant people believe they are the MOST wonderfully tolerant. Solidarity and all."

Yes, most LGBT people are intolerant of transphobia. 😍
