This is horrifying. Women (lesbians) told by police they are going to be removed because abuse is being hurled at these women.

Police do nothing about the person shouting the abuse.

And you continue to avoid the point.

It is obvious you are doing it.

ButterstheCat · 29/08/2022 22:20

Gotta love an MRA telling lesbians they know nothing about the LGBT community.

Strange how that is the single thing you can try to use to discredit me.

It hasn’t yet worked. And as I point out, I point out the lack of coherence, logic and truthfulness in your posts.

I don’t have to be an expert in anything to do that.

Crack on. You can bring it up every post as you have done in the past. It doesn’t matter.

You have already ignored and talked over lesbians on this very thread.

How would me being any kind of ‘expert’ in LGB matters change the way you post?

"How would me being any kind of ‘expert’ in LGB matters change the way you post?"

If you were an expert you wouldn't post such nonsense and I wouldn't have to keep correcting you.

And of course, there is the sleight of hand again.

Of course the LGBT community is pro trans rights.

Most people who post on MN are all for trans people having rights. They certainly need unique rights that protect them. And it is logical to expect a majority of LGB’T’ people to support trans people having rights.

The point was LGB people.

Your claim: ’That is why straight people on this forum keep calling LGB people "homophobic" for believing in something (trans rights) which the overwhelming majority of LGB people believe in.’

trans rights in this instance seems to be related to calling themselves lesbian and redefining the word. Why should any group have the right to change another group’s words that they have traditionally used to describe themselves?

Your usual tricks of twisting posts continues, I see.

"trans rights in this instance seems to be related to calling themselves lesbian and redefining the word. Why should any group have the right to change another group’s words that they have traditionally used to describe themselves?"

It is in fact transphobes who are trying to change the definition of the word lesbian. Only today people on this thread have called lesbians who date trans women "bisexual". On what grounds do they get to police other peoples' identities?

"The LGBT community believes in rights for all LGBT people" is not quite as "grandiose" a statement as you claim.

Strange that you seem to be unable to believe provide any evidence at all for your assertion. But then again, you are a non expert on these matters.

The onus is only on you. If you cannot support it with actual evidence, why?

What do you mean by trans rights? I don't believe I'm anti-trans rights (though I expect you'll tell me I'm transphobic regardless).

Helleofabore · 29/08/2022 22:05

Hearach15 · 29/08/2022 22:01

Okay, let's flip it on its head - where's the evidence that both I and the transphobic poster who purported to be the disruptor at Cardiff Pride are wrong?

Both people who are pro and anti-trans rights are telling you the LGBT community is pro-trans rights - where's your evidence to the contrary?

Who do you think is anti trans rights? Most of us believe that people who identify as transgender should have the same rights as everyone else. Or does 'pro trans rights' mean something else?

I can assure you, they would have been treated the same way at any pride parade in Britain. If you think otherwise it is only because you know so little about the LGBT community.

And again you are missing the point.

You don’t have any evidence to support your claim that you know that the majority think.

You have none at all.

Right… so even if that poster was really involved with the protest, they are talking about the % of the people at Pride.

Again, your evidence is flawed because it is based on a % of people watching or attending a pride event in Southern Wales. That is not in any way good evidence but it is of the standard you have tried to present in the past.

Do you even know how many lesbians attend pride vs not? You seem to exist in a bubble of people who only agree with you. Either you are dramatically misrepresenting that, or you are the intolerant one and disassociate from any person who disagrees with you, or as you have said now on other threads, you ignore the statements from people in the group you support that doesn’t fit the narrative you have built for yourself.

It could be any, none or a mixture of those options.

But you simply don’t have the evidence and repeating that you ‘know’ it, doesn’t even remotely mean it is true. And who on MN FWR is going to trust you anyway, you have admitted to brainwashing, laughed at it being pointed out about your hateful comments about heterosexual people, and that is just on this thread.

You mean other than being lesbian myself and listening to you banging on about how if I was a proper lesbian I would be willing to have sex with males?

Yes… because some posters don’t talk over and ignore lesbians who disagree. … at all.

"And this ' the massive majority of LGB people think' thing is still largely about telling LGB people that homosexuality is not ok"

Yeah, you really don't know anything about homosexuality.

You mean other than being lesbian myself and listening to you banging on about how if I was a proper lesbian I would be willing to have sex with males?

And this ' the massive majority of LGB people think' thing is still largely about telling LGB people that homosexuality is not ok because it says no to male people who want to screw homosexual females.

And are really not bothered about whether those females are willing or would enjoy it.

So are scolding, shaming and coercing.

Instead of accepting people who are homosexual.

Repeating a lie endlessly really does not make it true.

As has been said over and over in the past few days, this business of 'well the majority of LGB people think....'

Where is the evidence? Not anecdotal, where is the actual researched evidence?

Almost everyone claiming this is talking about their friends and their groups so a very limited social circle, (one busy insisting they and their friend were lesbians cos they said so later commented that they hardly knew any homosexual people)

And as people keep reminding: everyone who does not repeat the TQ+ catechism would not be in those circles, would they?

So the most you can say is 'the majority of my mates think like what I do'. Which I'd expect, because I certainly wouldn't be hanging around with anyone who thought it was my social duty to learn to provide straight sex to males. Or wanting to deal with the behaviour towards others so very often seen in those with this political view.

Don't believe me, believe the transphobes who disrupted Cardiff Pride.

I know many lesbians via a local woman's group and they're all extremely fed up with transwomen steamrolling womens groups, dating sites, spaces etc.

Well hearache as discussed previously across many threads now, you have no actual evidence at all apart from your own bubble as to what the ‘entire’ LGB population think.

You constantly talk over lesbians here. So, I daresay no one who knows you would tell anything to the contrary.

And you ignore anything that is harmful to others that anyone who you support says, so, of course you would ignore anyone you supposedly support saying anything to the contrary anyway.

So, you can claim that those who disagree are a minority using those tactics. And continue to live in that safe space.
