This is horrifying. Women (lesbians) told by police they are going to be removed because abuse is being hurled at these women.

Police do nothing about the person shouting the abuse.

I'd forgotten that being a lesbian and refusing to contemplate intimate relationships with men is the most radical and provocative position a woman can take and one that a lot of straight women have only superficial tolerance of.

So much of this comes down to deeply ingrained misogyny, entrenched in culture, entrenched in people, that

  • a space serving only females and not useful to males is unjustifiable, selfish, not right, wasted space that should be redirected
  • a female who is in possession of female biology and gatekeeping it from being accessed for sexual service of males is unjustifiable, selfish, not right, and is either wilfully defiant and needs conquering by the righteous, or is messed up beyond retrieval and should just be shunned or got rid of.

We haven't moved on in any way from the large crowds of women who would gather in crowds to shout in churches to shame the wicked sinners, confiscate children off the feckless to ship them to Australia and Canada, gather at the witch trials - there's a lot to be assessed in how females when their only power is to serve male interests get right behind that service, but frankly the enjoyment of a good old shout and shame and mob mentality in the name of whatever righteousness or fad is currently passing through really is a big human thing.

It's the hypocrisy of this lot shouting 'love!' and 'inclusion!' as they scream violence and hate at homosexual women for having resisted the hostile takeover and forced rebranding of homosexuality that sticks in my craw. If you're going to hate on females for resisting cock then own it and be bloody honest about it and stop claiming you cover yourself in rainbows because you 'love gay people'.

Yes, I'm seeing a lot more men — both gay and straight — posting on this subject. Men have mothers, wives, sisters, girlfriends, daughters. They know how predatory and scary some men are. I'm seeing an increasing number of men suggesting that men have to guarantee the safety of TWs in men's loos, but admitting that there's nothing they can do about the huge number of porn-addled blokes who get a thrill out of out invading women's space.

We are back to: if you must do something a bit dirty and shameful like insist on being homosexual and not be open to sex based on someone's personal self definition of sex instead of your perception of the reality of their biological sex.... then at least do it behind closed doors and don't talk about it in polite society.

Or just being pushed out of sight of decent people.

But that's exactly what they were banned for, marching lesbians.

That's exactly what those women are, what they say they are, and what they want to remain as.

The issue, is how pride has been colonised and captured by heterosexual males, in order to exclude the very people it was designed to advocate for.

The fact that people recognise that lesbians saying they are lesbian is a problem, is extraordinary! In a march, the entire purpose of which was to promote lesbianism (homosexuality in general).

If you understand that a march designed for lesbians is now having a problem with lesbianism, there's no way you can call it 'disingenuous'. Disgusting, scandalous, homophobic, discriminatory, prejudicial and bigoted, yes. Disingenuous? no.

I'm still grinning at being told I have little idea as a homosexual female about homosexuality because that really says it all.

I have, for decades, managed to be exclusively attracted to and exclusively have my sexual relationships with biologically adult females. I managed this without your 'education' or any confusion about who I was attracted to, what it was called, finding other females like me and happily just cracking on with it. Homosexual people do not need training, educating and sorting out by you, because it's not a political position of right think, it's just basic human instinct.

Play your gender games all you like, call yourselves bright new exciting names, take over Pride and every LGBT space and place with your new and improved and superior sexuality types, have a lovely time and I will wish you well. Just don't take over and rebrand me, and demand that I pretend what is not true and that I can't be homosexual unless you deign to teach me how to do it properly because you can't have a space of your own or an identity of your own, you have to mug me for mine.

The arrogance is off the scale.

So what was on the banners? If you are seriously calling their protest out as being an issue, at least have the honesty to explain exactly why, in your mind, they were a problem.

They were not only marching, they were carrying banners about getting the L out.

Excellent. A good old fashioned protest then! Probably from some of the lesbians who were actively involved in starting these type of events in the first place.
