The person in this video has been identified as Alexandria Adamson, who has been given a role within the SNP.

Adamson charged towards a GC woman, screaming "Witch!Witch! " at her, and was earlier seen to have been mumbling threats under their breath.

(Click on link to tweet below to see the video.)

A poor marginalised, terrified TRA cowering in fear at the Women's Rights Demo in Edinburgh this week..... sarcastic voice

Both sides? I think not.

This person should be nowhere near vulnerable people.
I'm glad i don't live in Scotland and I don't understand why the Scots are tolerating this kind of shite

Given that revising history is so popular, I hereby declare that it's because The Auld Alliance was always with East Germany (and the Stasi) rather than France.

In some of the film of them screaming at women, there was an angle in which you could see someone who was staying in the background conferring with them & setting them on again.

So not only a mentally unwell person, but one who is clearly being used & encouraged as a tactic.

I’m reminded of Stonewall’s use of a person so mentally fragile they needed dog, mum and support person (actually a solicitor) for a zoom call.

Sadly historically there have been several highly vulnerable people who were parachuted in job roles they could not possibly have been considered for without having one specific characteristic of use to others, one of which was later found by an inquiry to not actually be capable of understanding the basics of a very key part of their responsibilities.

From the comments, it seems people are aware of exactly who the article refers to, though.

That's helpful if people are reading the comments, but doesn't excuse the journalists or the rag!

look at this fucking article. Doesn't name the unhinged troll, doesn't include a photograph of him. They've straight up written an article about "a woman" who threatened Sunak and Truss.

It's not just that one incident either: there is a history of abusive posts (wishing death on people). This is clearly a very unwell, and potentially dangerous, person.

Next time anyone says GC british women are funded by the American religious right, remember Adamson.

Adamson keeps posting about demons and does "open air ministry", so in other words, is an excitable street preacher. We've all encountered those, I assume?

Altogether, this is all very reminiscent of insane-eyed zealots burning Harry Potter books for "satanic influences". And the SNP, gender identify theory central, are endorsing Adamson.

SammyScrounge · 17/08/2022 17:59

Delegates at the Tory party leadership hustings today were spat on and manhandled, a BBC journalist spat on and screamed at so that he couldn't interview anyone.
I'm becoming embarrassed to be a Scot. But the rot started with Sturgeon.

And your assessment is based on...

Some Indy supporters.

You can support Indy but hate the current incarnation of the SNP. Which is a shame as now I can vote to support women OR Indy but not both.

Most. As the SNP keep telling us, they have the largest share of the voters who want independence.

KittenKong · 17/08/2022 16:30

Why the surprise? The video of them screaming at women was probably their audition for a job with the SNP.

😂😂😂

PeriodBro · 17/08/2022 16:31

Is this about that witch forgiveness thing Nicola was on about? She's got this person to promoting it by shouting 'witch' at random women? Maybe there's just been a misunderstanding.

@Artichokeleaves 💯👍👍

WillNotWheesht · 17/08/2022 15:07

There is wheesht for Indy movement, where supporters will shut their minds to anything else.

There are also Indy supporters who now won’t vote SNP because of all this

Helleofabore · 17/08/2022 14:56

Wowsers... has recruitment been told to never do social media checks on people? There is no way that this person should be in a role such as this.

YourLipsMyLipsApocalypse · 17/08/2022 14:45

SirChenjins · 17/08/2022 14:11

Ahhh, but independence....

I know that sounds trite, but that is literally what it boils down to - Indy supporters will turn a blind eye to every single bit of fucking lunacy that comes out of the SNP's corner because they are absolutely fixated on the independence at all costs. Their pathetic response is to claim that once we have this Utopia (Dystopia) we'll simply band together and vote the SNP out, and we're actually supposed to believe them.

tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz · 17/08/2022 14:27

Sorry Little .. I was referring to the one in the tweet Grin

MrsOvertonsWindow · 17/08/2022 14:23

It does appear that the Scottish government have abandoned the concepts of responsibility, age appropriate, safeguarding, qualified for a role - and even the need for basic civilised behaviour towards others - judging by their recent appointments and actions.
Terrifying for women, children and parents in Scotland.

PrimAndProperPearlClutcher · 17/08/2022 14:21

Chersfrozenface · 17/08/2022 13:53

According to the Scottish Daily Express website (yes, yes, but I don't know whether other media outlets will cover this) the SNP has suspended this person's membership after the Sunak tweet.

Not after vile behaviour towards women, you'll note. Also, I wonder when the suspension will be reversed.

Well, Rishi Sunak will be protected under Hate Crime if it was racist abuse.

Truss will not be protected as she's a mere woman and we're not covered under Hate Crime laws.

achillestoes · 17/08/2022 14:14

This person is unstable.

Ghislainedefeligonde · 17/08/2022 14:10

Is this a paid role? What skills do they have apart from making it all about themself?! Are snp just trying to deflect attention away from the period woke bro from yesterday???
The mind boggles
