Extraordinary reporting of stickers in local paper.

I live a few miles from where these terrible “hate crimes” are supposedly happening. I can’t see anything untrue about the slogans, btw.

Has anyone ever known a documented case of razors under stickers?

All the stickers shown are on curved surfaces, so how would that even work?

There’s quite a ratio in the comments.

But I think my TERFy brain has just about managed to figure it out so I will now enlighten you all:


  • Transphobia = literal violence

  • Transphobic* stickers= literal, actual razor blades! Because the stickers themselves are just so cutting and hurtful!!!

It’s just so logical and makes total sense wouldn’t you say?!

*not that a reminder should be necessary but: any mention of, let alone a demand for, women’s rights is automatically transphobic, and confirms that the author’s sole aim is the mass torture and genocide of all trans people.

It's hilarious that they say stickering is illegal, and then call on people to post stickers. Er...

I clicked on the journalist's profile. Apparently she has a first-class honours degree in multimedia journalism from Bournemouth. She must have skipped the classes on defamation and impartiality.

I've seen a long twitter thread of people reporting to a Green Party official that they won't vote GP again while there is rampant transphobia in the Party. So I guess Cllr Catt knows his audience.

There wasn't a single mention of an environmental issue in the thread.

I'm a member of the Green Party (I know, I know) and get a daily press briefing.

It's usually when a spokesperson has managed to get onto tv or radio and been interviewed about an environmental issue or local GP in local newspapers about local actions.

Guess what made it into today's briefing. 🙄

Oh well if it’s the act of adhering that’s the problem, than maybe they’d prefer leafleting or the scattering of stickers? I think the stickers make good book marks myself.

That's probably why the Evening News have edited out the bit where the Councillor called for everyone to sticker in response!

Comments have vanished. Almost all of them pointed out there were no razors, that the journo seems to have just uncritically repeated what the Cllr said, and that the stickers say nothing hateful and nothing that isn;t strictly true. Oh, plus one poster being very abusive of "TERFs" and reporting every comment for hatespeech.

They edited out the bit where the Councillor calls for stickering (a petty crime I think) on the crime page.

My position is the same as the position of Engels, as put forward in “The Origin of the Family, Private Property and the State”. He describes women’s oppression as rooted in the desire of men to control inheritance of property, hence the fertility and sexuality of women had to be controlled.

This position has been the basis of socialist and feminist thinking for 150 years. But it is completely incompatible with mystical theories that say being a woman is independent of biology.

Go on, tell us that Engels was right wing. That's if you know who he was, of course.

Engels is as notoriously rightwing as Tommy Sheridan.
