I was fully prepared to be cross at them for apologising, but saying sorry for how someone felt isn't really an apology.

“The committee is very sorry for how this has made people feel and very much hopes that all concerned are assured of our best intentions.”

If Donna doesn't like the float, maybe Donna can join forces with Save Women's Sports and campaign to stop men participating in thw women's category.
