Well there's the fact that they're the one party not signed up to gallop self ID and the TQ+ political agenda through at high speed the second they're in power. There's that.

Given bumbling, immoral idiots and dangerous lunatics, I'm afraid I'll go for the mere bumbling every time. And they have people like Javid and Truss who actually get the problems and have the guts to face up to them.

I absolutely agree with them. I am GC and I do care about the trans issue, but not at the extent of everything else. There are so many other issues that I care about.

I'm also totally bemused as to why anyone would believe for a moment that the Tories will stand up for women's rights.

But that does not make anyone any the wiser as to what it was she seemed to approve by her tweet.

You claimed that Sharron Davies followed Peter Sweden without performing the due diligence to check that she did before you implied that effectively stated that she did.

You're now accepting the word of someone that you affect to deride that she doesn't follow him.

And you're the one scoffing at Sharron Davies for not googling before a QT? Now I've identified the QT and accounts involved, it's not obvious from Peter Sweden's Twitter bio that he's notorious and he certainly doesn't give a summary of his rebarbative beliefs or perspectives.

I'm not on Twitter because it seems a hellhole. However, with self-appointed Witchfinders like you who don't perform due diligence and decry and condemn others who have such lapses, it's a modern day Crucible. Guilt by association is silly. The idea that SD would deny the Holocaust is a bit out there, really.

None- she claims she doesn't follow him - which in my view makes it even more irresponsible for her to Quote Tweet a random account (but easily googleable as extreme-right) saying
"What are we going to do about a media that only shows the news the want to show?"

FGS the lady was entitled to her benefit and the DWP cocked up...she will get it eventually...as is right and proper so the OP was correct no one is supposed to go hungry in the UK. Ridiculous to accuse her of not caring when someone does because of an administrative failure.

Don’t take this the wrong way, but I’d probably need independent corroboration of any of your claims about other people’s views. You saying Davies retweeted someone doesn’t make me think she thinks anything in particular.

I have a whole lot of sympathy for loyal socialist women, but the reality is that there is not one single left party with a grain of sanity remaining. They will all railroad in this crap at high speed without the capacity for rational thought, critical thinking, foreseeing consequences, and they're all in hock to a political lobby that hates women, and has a number of other highly dodgy agendas.

They're dead in the water. I'm sorry. But the facts have to be faced. Women are in this mess through far too much generosity of thinking, patience and being prepared to try and do this nicely, change from within, sweet reason and all the rest of it. There's a point at which nice becomes stupid.

Is it that you believe we can fight off self ID if and when Labour are elected? If so please could you explain how, as presumably it's going to be in their manifesto?
Or do you think we could get the legislation repealed at a later date? And again, if so then how?
Just posters who actually oppose self ID please. I'm not interested in the 'Feminism must prioritise everyone else' school of thought.
