This is what gender non-conforming can look like. This is extending the boundaries of what it means to be male.

Why shouldn't a boy wear a dress if it makes him happy?

Please remain yourself, Korben: a gay bloke.

He looks great. But there are thousands of girls who have dressed up for their proms and look fabulous. And no one cares.

This boy also has a drag persona and this is going to be an amazing fillip to his career.

While I'm sure he's a lovely young man, I don't know what it's got to do with feminism.

Sorry to piss on everyone's chips.

On the surface it has nothing to do with feminism. But it does have to do with discussions on sex and gender. The genderists claim that if a boy likes wearing stereotypically feminine clothes , eg a dress, then he is actually a girl.

I find it really sad that ‘boy wears dress’ is considered to be news. I was a teenager in the 80s - the time when Boy George, Marilyn, Annie Lennox etc all challenged the stereotypes. The fact that a number of people (or ‘folx’ as they’d probably call themselves) now think that the clothes you wear determine whether you’re a man or a woman shows that we’ve gone backwards. Wear what you like, kid, you look
great. Just remember you’re a fella…

'Girl has short hair' is headline news at DD's school. It's so depressing.

Yes - female family member went to her prom in a simply stunning 3-piece suit - jacket, waistcoat, trousers in traditional male style. No one will pick this up and propagate it around social media.

Fantastic outfit, fantastic lad. Isn’t it fantastic he’s so comfortable in his own skin? Lovely article.

That link says no go now, for some reason. But yes, I know who you mean cos I saw him on Twitter. Yes, he looks amazing. Yes, he’s a he. Yes, he’s gender nc. If that’s who he believes he is, let’s hope he can stay that way and not be bullied in to some other path. All power to him.

OneOfThoseOldFashionedWomen · 05/07/2022 20:23

Exactly that. He looks amazing, greatest respect to his family and him for choosing such an amazing outfit. For that is all it is, an outfit that he likes and that suits him.

Outfit should be just that, for anyone that likes them.

Links not working

i used to work in a dress shop, we had one particular man who loved prom dresses and 1950’s style dresses

he used to wear them to weddings (the fancier ones) and for parties
