Why are some people saying her book Trans is antisemitic?

Conflictedunicorn - you're assuming it's an unfortunate and accidental side-effect of their self-aggrandizing drama.

But I wonder whether it's actually deliberate: cynical post-truth manipulation which pushes Trans to the top of the oppression hierarchy by minimizing the oppression faced by any other group.

I’m starting to think that all these accusations of anti Semitism, racism, nazi, etc that the TRA throw around Willy nilly actually devalue these words and ideas. This can only make it harder for those people who do suffer these things and have been victims to speak out against it. If you are comparing the fact transwomen cannot compete in female sport to genocide, and lesbians resfusing to date transwomen to apartheid, then surely that is making a mockery of genocide and apartheid.

As a Jew who deals with actual anti-semitism in daily life, I can tell you that it's pretty fucking tiresome.

Oh ok have had a read online now & it looks like a spurious conflation of highlighting the multibillionaires who fund trans activism in the states with being anti Jewish. So just an attempt to slander her then 🙄

The same reasoning that leads them to say TERFs are Nazis - i.e. none. If you’re familiar enough with this debate to know who Helen Joyce, is you know that TRAs shit from both ends.
