Has anyone had a deletion message from MNHQ to say why the place we must not name has been banned or are related posts or posts using the name just being deleted with no explanation?

Well OP, I think it has to do with it not being welcoming and making some people feel excluded.

I don't see how it can be 'not in the spirit of the site' to encourage posters to keep their cool and avoid posting something that will be screenshotted in order to call MN into disrepute.

I have been deleted numerous times for mentioning either taking notice of that township or that Mrs B would advise going for a walk.

Got deleted for mentioning I was walking through hills too.

I believe it may be considered hunting for things starting with T that sometimes live under bridges. Or to be not in the spirit.

I now talk about checking on the quokkas.

Special rules also meant that you could say something a year ago and be deleted for it a year later when that particular rule changed

that one didn’t happen much but there was a spat of zombie threads being revived to report them

i don’t really remember what the special rules were

but i do remember that posting that little biscuit emoji is a deletable offence on the feminism board

and you can’t say cult or peak or bunbury…which is a new one on me

and this post maybe considered inflammatory

or not in the spirit which is a nebulous thing at the best of times
