Museum defends man dressed in women's lingerie playing Lego with kids https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10819577/Australian-Museum-Sydney-photo-man-lingerie-playing-Lego-kids.html?ito=nativesharee_article-top

Sorry to be starting off another thread with another DM article but holy hell what the fuck is going on! And the museum can see "nothing wrong" with this happening. Some great safeguarding going on at their children's event Hmm

The wilful blindness to see this for what it is, is truly amazing. And those that "can't see a problem with it" are enabling these kinks to be played out in public with both children and unconsenting adults. Wrong on so many levels

I don't think it is the biggest story really as the museum has now designated the area children-only next time. It is correct the security guard couldn't throw them out for their clothes. Obviously if what they were wearing breached Australian laws they could have been reported.

Right so now the museum have designated the lego pit a childrn’s only area. So mums can’t play lego with their children because of these perverts. Not much of a solution eh.

Just incredible that the museum would think that was in any way appropriate

Multiple members of our security and programming teams spoke with a woman who took the images on the evening following the concerns she raised regarding two people wearing fancy dress,' a spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia.

Probably calling her a bigot and telling her to leave I'd presume!

I’ve attended places or events like this before and they have always specifically banned adults not accompanying a child. That of course is no guarantee of a lack of problems, but it reduces them significantly.

It'll be because of the outfit he was let in. Nobody dares confront him.

MoltenLasagne · 16/05/2022 08:23

Surely most kids events would not allow in un-childrened adults as a basic safeguard. Utterly bizarre this doesn't seem to be the case before you even get to the outfits.
