Tbh that makes no sense. The Tories have quite a number of female MPs. One more isn't going to change ingrained attitudes of the men. Great if a woman does get elected to the seat but it doesn't show evidence of anything particularly.

And of course usual caveat of what is a woman Caroline. 🙄

The best candidate should get the role woman man or any combination of the two (which people may or may not believe exists).
