That’s what happens when you talk utter shit, I mean, who’s your audience here?!?

Depressingly there seems to be a really copious audience for shit.

But if LOJ's meanderings are losing appeal, I guess that's a hopeful sign.

He's basically an opinion journalist with no real expertise or experience in anything very concrete. He's not able to give serious political or military or economic analysis. He's just a liberal gay man who writes about liberal gay viewpoints. He's not especially unusual or surprising in what he says. But those kinds of opinions are a dime a dozen.

His youth was kind of his shtick I suppose, he represented Young Labour, but like a lot of precocious young writers he didn't seem to mature past that.

I really wonder what happens to the mental state of a person who is seemingly of normal intelligence, but is going to such great lengths to avoid understanding a very basic proposition - if he as a gay man cannot imagine performing that particular sex act, does that not mean he does not agree that TMAM?

It's not as if he's ever even made an attempt, instead he blusters about the question being homophobic while ignoring the second part. It's a distraction technique.

But how can you at the same time deliberately trying to distract people from thinking about that, and be so self-righteous about it at the same time? There's a real mental splitting going n, and I've never seen that turn out well in an individual.

He's never been angry about being called a misogynist, as it just doesn't compute. Women who think he is aren't worthy of his notice, and we are of course the only oppressed class of people who get to have members of the oppressor class who purport to care about social justice tell us what our oppression is and what it is not, without any shame on their part.
