On Politicäs Live yesterday. Challenged on what a woman is, she said that a woman is an adult human female ... CHEERS! ... and some are born and some become women ... BANGS HEAD ON DESK!

Some women are born women, some women achieve womenhood and some women have womenhood thrust upon them, eh?

I'm finding myself increasingly just muttering 'now you're just being silly' and walking away... you can't talk to someone being this daft.

Shouldn't the full paraphrasing be:

Some are born women, some achieve womanhood, and some have womanhood thrust upon them.

We have to operate on the basis that any politician like Creasy, Nandy, Rayner, Sobel etc., no matter how they moderate things they have said in the past to try to cleverly placate us, they believe a male person can become a woman and they believe that should make them indistinguishable from a natal female. That’s their belief. They have a right to it.

I also believe it makes them unsuitable to represent the wider public. They have a prior commitment.

These days I am permanently disappointed, especially when clever women I admire (or did) like Creasey show themselves to be somewhat less admirable.
