Emma Bateman is the co chair of Green Party Women, and she is challenging the Green Party to stand up for sense, science and women's sex based rights.
Emma is digging in for her legal case.

I would vote Green if it weren't for all the trans nonsense.

I can't vote Labour - their stance is harmful and insulting to women.

I can't vote Tory.

I can't vote LibDem, or ToryLite.

I am very concerned about environmental issues, and I already do a lot in this regard. I should be a natural Green voter. But I can't vote for them until they focus on reality and the environment.

Environmental issues are going to be an increasing problem from now on and they stand a chance of gaining more mainstream support, I hope they can get their act together.

At the recent Spring conference almost all of the votes went in favour of women/feminists. (If only by a narrow margin in some cases). I am hopeful that some of the many women who left will feel able to return in future.

Well I do hope so. I need to vote for someone.i will never vote tory and I will never vote for a party led by starmer.

From Emma Bateman :

"Some people may wonder why I am taking this action against the Green Party at a time when climate change should be at the centre of everything we do, and I understand that. But if our policies are not founded on objective reality, we will have no credibility with the wider public. This renunciation of science-based policies, at the very moment that evidence-based solutions are crucial to address climate change, is reckless."

And a video of her whole talk, from which the extract in the OP is taken :

Yes, they can. I think more and more 'ordinary' members of the party are seeing exactly what's going on and starting to say 'no, thank you'.

It would be good to start addressing environmental issues again ...

Maybe if we just redefine the temperature scale, global warming would suddenly cease to exist. After all, words are more powerful than physical reality is. Surprised the Greens haven't thought of that one.

TheGreatATuin · 28/03/2022 14:04

Yes, I think so. There's a strong GC presence in the Greens but they're facing a number of hardliner TRAs in key positions.
The balance is definitely shifting though. Change isn't going to happen overnight but it's very clear that if the momentum that the GC side has continues, TRAs are going to find it very difficult to hang on to their positions.
The last conference made it very clear that most Greens are fed up with the hyperbole and are seeing through it now.
