Was it Bragg who responded to that list of 'sex acts' that included choking and defecation in a woman's mouth and said they were all 'just sex acts'?

Is hate an energy that demands an outlet, I wonder, and now a section of the 'Left' is no longer allowed to publicly direct it in one direction, it has had to find a new one?

Another Bragg- adjacent blue ticker spent his Oxford years making hundreds of edits to Wikipedia pages on Israel, but that info has now been deleted on his own Wikipedia page, I notice.

Never been a fan of his music, the little that I heard always seemed a bit.....whiney. I always appreciated him for his politics though. I didn't know about that Jewish post, that's appalling. The whole MRA left me very disappointed too.

This is gutting to read. I always loved Billy Bragg, we have a framed poster of the lyrics to Between The Wars hanging in the house... but he's drunk the KoolAid, hasn't he?

Me too. He was huge in my life from teenage years Red Wedge etc. i felt so let down by him when his views emerged a couple of years ago. Cannot countenance his music or his socials now.

Once the backlash hits (it's already hitting) his career won't be able to be resurrected. I wonder if he in his arrogance realises this?
