Raquel Rosairo Sanchez still has legal fees to pay

Just saw this on a FB post - Raquel's crowd funder is still open and she has a long way to go to reach her stretch target.

Her case has been heard and the abuse, bullying and harassment that she as a doctoral student new to the UK was subjected to was horrendous.

Not as high profile as other legal cases, but nevertheless important for all of us.

I've dug again. I feel particularly sick that university students are involved in so much anti-women activism, and in some cases like Bristol the university itself supports them. What a sickening reversal of the idealist campaigns I remember from university, and the struggle for women's liberation.

Donated again inspired by seeing Racquel speak last night. She was brilliant. It is shameful what she has been put through. Shameful.

It's described as a "pledge" and that the money will be taken in 24-48 hours. I am not sure what triggers that to happen, but I have put in my pledge and then leave it for a few days even if it comes through initially as £0.

Yes, that's what has happened when I've done it more than once before.

Racquel was amazing at the Sex Matters event last night
She was! Absolutely brilliant 🤩 Such clarity and humour, always moving forward.

Just pledged and it said my pledge was £0 (it wasn't!). I'll see what comes out of my account and do it again if nothing shows in a couple of days.

Another bump. Only 7 days and lots of seeds need planting. RRS has put herself on the line for all our children, who may one day wish to go to university and not have to put up with the shit show that she has endured.

I didn't know about this but it's shocking, I hope she wins because it's disgusting how women's voices are being made quieter whilst the trans community only gets louder. I've just read about her and she sounds amazing. Go Raquel!
