I just want to thank you, Graham. Thank you for caring as much as you do. You will be vindicated, and women won't forget that you stood with us when few had the bravery and integrity to speak the truth. I am sorry it has cost you so much.

I'm sorry you've paid such a high price for just speaking the truth Graham, thank you. Also thanks for your comedy, my two teenagers are currently sitting binge watching The IT Crowd, so funny Smile

Charley50 · 25/03/2022 21:38

Thank you Graham, you are a top geezer. You and Daley Thompson have more integrity than the rest of the men in comedy and sport in the UK altogether (terrible grammar, but you know what I mean) ❤️

Rowlingfan · 25/03/2022 21:03

Thank you Graham. You’re a rock.

I love your comedy and I respect your integrity. Take it easy on yourself and know that girls and women will be safer in the future because of brave people like you. The sun is shining and the tide will turn.

And fuck Twitter. It’s for pillocks.

DoubleYouOhEmAyEn · 25/03/2022 20:55

Glinner, you are a brave and honourable man and I salute you for what you've done for women and girls.
My next cat will be called Graham in your honour. Even if she's a female.

PlinkPlankPlunk · 25/03/2022 12:32

Honestly, it is coming to something when the comments under a Daily Mail article show more understanding, appreciation and nuance than everything in my Twitter stream. It’s utterly bizarre how many people that could make a difference just won’t stand up!

I agree with PPs who say Glinner will end up on the right side of history. I’m just sorry about everything that he’s going through right now

nothingcomestonothing · 25/03/2022 09:32

Thank you Graham, one of seemingly very few people in the public eye who has the courage to stand up for women and for truth.

MissTrip82 · 25/03/2022 07:23

Goodness I was sorry to read his marriage had ended.

Like a PP I’ve wondered what Christopher Hitchens would have had to say about this.

RVN123 · 25/03/2022 06:34

Thank you Glinner.
As for the "celebrity" friends who have blanked him, I hope they feel as pathetic as they are. Clearly just trying to appease the woke twats and trying to protect their careers with no moral backbone.

I hope things get better for him.

WhyThatsDelightful · 25/03/2022 00:41

Great interview Graham, you’re an inspiration and you’re right. I’m so sorry to hear the affect it’s had on you and your family too.

Can we preorder tickets for Father Ted?

KloppsTeeth · 25/03/2022 00:19

Thank you does seem enough Glinner.

I wish Christopher Hitchens were still alive, he would have a lot to say on this.

I’m about the read The Parasitic Mind by Gad Saad. Perhaps you could get on his YouTube channel?

WalrusSubmarine · 24/03/2022 23:15

@flyingbuttress43

Thank you Graham. What angers me almost more than anything is that here is a man with everything to lose standing up for truth while so many women stay silent. If women are not prepared to stand up for themselves, why should we expect men to?
But This does affect men. I don’t think my partner would want to rugby tackle a pregnant female or shower after the match with an underage unsupervised 15 year old female in the room. I don’t think my autistic brother would cope too well with asking for a male therapist and getting a female one. I can’t see my boss being happy with his teenage daughter having to use mixed sex women’s spaces alone.

Thank you glinner. (I’d rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I am not)

Gizmo79 · 24/03/2022 23:00

No 2 news story on daily mail. People will start listening. Thankyou Graham. It will start to turn.

Liveliferun · 24/03/2022 22:39

Thank you Glinner. You are on the right side of history. Shame on the showbiz cowards who would not even sign a letter to condemn the abuse of JKR.

Liveliferun · 24/03/2022 22:37

flyingbuttress43 Women tend to get treated much worse when they speak out, rape and death threats are so common as to not even be newsworthy now. It’s hatred turbo charged with misogyny.

MySexMatters · 24/03/2022 22:28

Thank you, Graham. Star

flyingbuttress43 · 24/03/2022 21:54

vivariumvivariumsvivaria · 24/03/2022 21:39

I'm not even sure you could write comedy out of all this. Satire is dead and it's all too tragic.

noideawhat · 24/03/2022 21:31

Echoing everyone else here. Thank you Graham for clearly articulating this in a way that I can't. You're incredible & I'm so sad about what's happened to you. I hope you know how many of us support you.

Theeyeballsinthefuckingsky · 24/03/2022 21:10

I feel for him so much. He’s been hung out to dry over this! It just goes to show that you have to be as big as JKR to withstand the level of harassment and abuse targeted at you

Abd yes there are a lot of comedians and associates of graham that I think an awful lot less of now

RoyalCorgi · 24/03/2022 21:04

This breaks my heart. I read the Mail article and the bit that stood out for me was that not a single one of his former showbiz friends was willing to stand up for him when the decision was made to cancel Father Ted the musical. What utter shits. What cowards. My only consolation is that, if there is such a thing as the right side of history, Glinner is on it, and one day he will be regarded as a hero, and they will be reviled.

I take some heart from the fact that the comments on the Mail article are all with Glinner, and they are receiving thousands of likes.

Pudmyboy · 24/03/2022 21:03

He is a hero, he has never given up or let us down. Graham you are a star Star

PlinkPlankPlunk · 24/03/2022 20:59

He’s being slaughtered on Twitter, unfortunately. I don’t get why so many seemingly intelligent people don’t understand it all. It’s bloody disappointing.

I wish there were some louder voices (all respect to those that do speak up) agreeing with and supporting Glinner

PenguindreamsofDraco · 24/03/2022 20:49

His showbusiness "friends" should hang their heads in shame. And Hat Trick.

LizzieSiddal · 24/03/2022 20:48

I too feel so sad for Graham. Standing up for women should not have cost him what it has.

Roystonv · 24/03/2022 20:47

Thank you for all you have said and continue to say in support. You have been so brave and I am so sorry it has cost you so much. Best wishes.
