So unapologetic "There's a man called Will Thomas, who's changed his name to Lia Thomas". No pissing around with the TW descriptor, I used to think she was a bit much, now I think she's just right and very needed.

Can we have a thread to follow her US trip please, she had a great Speaker Corner outside the White House too.

What a shame that's the theme of the thread, I wish I never said that! I'm really excited to see what she does next in America.

I was at a few speakers corners and see the reaction of the brainwashed public when she is so forthright, and I was at the Lancet/ Labour Party protest and saw the reaction of passers by and felt they see us as transphobes and bad people. It's easy to say when you speak to people on here, who know about the issues and are in agreement of course she isn't 'a bit much'.

It is actually okay when you are naturally a non confrontational person primed to be 'nice' and you see actual people shocked at what they are hearing that you were uncomfortable with that at first. I didn't used to see the importance for such complete honesty, when it makes people brand you transphobic and not listen, but now (well actually quite a long time ago) I wince when I see 'male bodied' even written here among the non believers, I see that politeness is damaging. A lot of people are in agreement with KJ's stance and don't go around their own daily lives confronting people, if we were all instantly comfortable with that then we would all be KJK wouldn't we and we wouldn't find her bravery so remarkable.

Being "a bit much", "not very ladylike" , " unnatural women" , all that sort of rhetoric was thrown at the suffragettes. They got things done. So does Posie. You might not like her. You'll probably be thanking her in a few years time, though.

Go Kellie-Jay! I’ve been watching their protests on Save Women’s Sports and Known Heretics YouTube channels. If this is not defeated now this is the end of women’s sports - so no, under the circumstances it’s not a bit much at all. Well done to all those protesting.

According to Twitter, she’s “stalking” Thomas (by attending a public swim meet) and “hurling transphobic abuse” (accurately saying that Thomas is a man.)

Her shirt took me all the way out. “That man is a cheat.” Someone has to say it. It’s absolutely disgusting watching Thomas beat Olympic medalists while sandbagging.

When she yelled “he’s a man” during Thomas’ post-race interview it was perfect.

My worry for her isn't her being arrested. I hope she's got good support from the women there and isn't going to land up getting smacked by a TRA.

My personal opinion is that this trip is CV and skills building. She's very media friendly, especially for the US where they love an accent and will assume she's a bit of an eccentric. And then she'll say "I never lose" and they'll be agog. If she can get a clip of something like she did with Harrop she'll have a career in politics or the media here.

Magdalen Berns told us to be brave. PP is exactly that.

I'm not clear on how KJK can be a 'bit much' when faced with men cheating female swimmers out of places and medals and NHS hospitals are lying and gas lighting raped women.

If anything she needs to be more of 'a bit much'. We all do.

I think Lia T winning the women's titles is a lot much. Too much for me to stomach.

I think KJ being a bit much and having ovaries of steel is exactly what's needed in the situation.

'Being a bit much' is sometimes the only way to get things done.

I'm not aware of her physically attacking anyone, now that would be too much.

As women we should be pleased with what she does whether you agree with everything she says or not.

Is she gunning to get arrested over this for max attention? Fair play to her if she is. I think she's very brave
I was wondering about that myself, I wonder if she will get to the end of her trip without being arrested.
