If they don’t like the word ‘his’story, then they shouldn’t use ‘her’story, as that still contains a gender. Surely it should be ‘their’ or s/he or s/his -Tory etc.

The fashion shows will soon give up all pretence of designing for women and feature the people whom they'd been designing for all along. The fashion magazines will fall in line because it's not as if they haven't been pushing unrealistic standards and feeding into women's dissatisfaction with their bodies all along.
