lifeinthelastlane tbf, my kids don’t know much about the law aside 10 commandments type stuff - but they can spot an imposter at 50 paces. My youngest asked me why “the man was pretending to be a lady” though…

Funny how a filth rag like the DM is suddenly considered credible if it suits our narrative.

Considering the sexist, low level trash this tabloid generally spews out, how anyone can take it seriously astounds me.

If I was going to link to this story I would give the DM a wide berth. If there is an alternative article I would recommend posting a link for those of us who prefer actual journalism.

I am no fan, at all, of the daily mail, but also I remember it played a significant part of getting convictions for the murderers of Stephen Lawrence, by printing the photos of the five men and saying 'we accuse them of the murder of Stephen Lawrence, if we are wrong, sue us.'

That takes some big balls. And I guess the mail prints these stories because it does not gaf.

Also keir Isfahan a woman is an adult human female as you say, then transwomen cannot be women as they are not female.

I agree. The tweets are the actual statements, which can be gotten from Twitter without the "hit out at" bollocks. I am experienced at filtering it all out though, so just read the tweets....

As a general rule i like to cite as primary source as I can - it's good practice - unless the way an article is written is part of the story (eg the Guardian's very specific focus on one part of the Cass interim report).

I am so fed up with ‘TWAW but I support women only spaces’. It means nothing because that person’s definition of women includes men.

Interviewers are going to have to be very clear. ‘Do you support single sex spaces ie only for biological females’ or ‘given you think TWAW, what is your word for ‘human of the female sex’ (which includes everyone of that sex and excludes everyone not of that sex). Do you support spaces (prisons, hospital wards) exclusively for those people?’

Does it really matter if the story is what we are talking about?

A legal publication published a story. Does the whole history of the publication need to be taken into consideration as to whether we believe the story, or are allowed to talk about it?

Is that not 'purity politics' in which only lily white virgin publications are allowed an opinion?

If that is the case can you please let us know what publications we are allowed to:
a - read
b - discuss.

The Times have stopped comments under trans articles, but readers are all commenting under the open comments on other articles. KS and Labour are being laughed at. After all, how is it not possible to know what women are?
